I Finally Do

Lily POV

I was in all white and my bridesmaid wore purple. I was looking at my lightly curled hair on the mirror and my make up that was done professionally. I was beautiful. I begin to cry because to be honest I've never seen myself as beautiful. Of course Aaron told me everyday how beautiful I was but I didn't believe him. With all my scars and monsters it was hard to love myself. Ariel was now walking and even talking slightly. She's about to turn 8 months old. Jack is such a good older. He's so patient and kind, he's just like his dad, his hero. I let a few tears fall and smile "I really do look like a princess." I hear a laugh I turn to face my maid of honour Emily she smiles "You do. You look beautiful as always." I smile "I actually feel beautiful for once Em." She frowns "I know it's hard to love yourself but you really are beautiful," she smiles and wipes my falling tear "Mark says that Hotch is a mess as well." I giggle "I'm happy to know I'm not the only nervous one." She smiles one last time and there was a knock on the door, I turn to face the man walking me down the isle "You look beautiful." Spencer says offering his arm. I smile as take it. He was shocked when I asked him. Yes Rossi was the father figure but, I knew that Aaron wanted him as his best man and also Spencer means a lot to me we've become fairly close since I've arrived on the team. "Let's go make you a Mrs.Hotchner." I take a deep breath and in that moment I realize these were my last moments as a Chénier and I couldn't be happier.

Hotch POV

"Aaron you have to calm down you look like you're going to pass out." David tell me again. I take a deep breath, I am so nervous you would think that the second time getting married would be easier. It's actually harder, Lily is different than Haley, she was more straight to my face, I don't take your bullshit and finally we have the same job. Don't get me wrong I loved Haley and a part of me will always love her but I am ready to make Lily my wife, just extremely nervous. "He's right man you gotta calm down." Mark says, I didn't like him at first but he grew on me not because he made Lily smile when she needed it but also because he makes Prentiss happy. Morgan nods in agreement. I take a deep breath "Okay I'm okay. She's going to say yes. I'm going to marry her." Morgan smiles "Of course she's going to say yes!" I roll my eyes and Reid approaches us "I'm going to go get her. You ready Hotch?" I take a deep breath and nod.

Next thing I knew the music changed to here comes the bride. I look up and my breath was taken away, the dress was down to her knees at first then came out with ruffles, there where was a shine on the dress, it was pure white, the vail lay open going mixing with her long curly hair. I can't take my eyes off of her. She's always beautiful but today, today was a different type of beautiful she glowed. She carried a bouquet of roses and tiger lilies. Reid stop before the alter and the priest says "Who gives away this morning.?" The entire team including Reid all say "We do." She giggles and I offer my hand she takes it and we look at each other on the eyes, I smile and wipe a tear off her face. She smiles and wipes my cheek, I didn't notice I was crying. She smiles and mouth a "I love you." I smile and mouth back "I love you too." The priest look at us and says "The couple have written their own vows." Lily hands her bouquet to Emily and smiles at me "Aaron, I have never been so grateful for being clumbsy," Everyone laughs "falling on you on the first day of the job was the best thing that's ever happened to me. We may argue but we always make up rather quickly and let's face it were both hard headed so fights are expected. You gave me the great honour of being a mother of 2 children, Jack is like a ball of sunshine he always knows how to make me smile and he is so much like his father. You did an amazing job raising him," she wipes my tears away an keep going "Ariel is our baby girl, our princess, she's what keeps us grounded. Aaron, you are the best thing that's happen to me. I love you and I cannot wait to start the rest of my life with you." Everyone is crying including her, I wipe her tears and she grabs my hand and kisses it. I smile and clear my throat "Lily, I am so happy you literally feel on me. I remember being angry at first but when I saw your bright hazel eyes my anger melted away and my heart flipped. You've turned me into a teenage boy, I immediately wanted to be with you. Through the past year we've been through a lot together, and we made it on this side. Haley would love you, not only because you make Jack happy but because you take him as your own but you never let him forget his real mom. Thank you for taking my son and I into your heart. I don't know how I got this lucky. I love you." Everyone was a mess. Tears pouring on Lily's faces I smiled and wiped her eyes again. The priest smiled and said "If anyone doesn't these two to marry speak now or forever hold your tongue." Lily sent out a glare and everyone laughed. The priest smiles and says "Do you Li-Anne Marie Chénier take Aaron William Hotchner to be your beloved husband?" She smiles at me and says "I do." I slip the ring on her finger with shaky handed the priest looks at me "Do you Aaron William Hotchner take Li-Anne Marie Chénier to be your beloved wife?" I smile at her "I finally do." Everyone giggles as she slides the ring on my finger. The priest smiles "You may kiss your bride." I pull her in and kiss her, I can taste the salt of our tears of joy in the kiss. We finish the kiss and the priest says "I am honoured to present to you for the very first time Mr. and Mrs. Aaron and Li-Anne Hotchner." Everyone cheers and I pick her up bridal style and carry her to the limo outside.

Lily POV

I giggle as he drops me in the limo, I scoot over letting him slide in beside me. I feel his arm pull me in and he kisses me again, I smile in the kiss. I am over the moon, he looks at me "I love you Mrs. Hotchner." I giggle "I love the sound of that. I love you too Aaron." He smiles widely and kisses my jaw and goes to my ear "I'll show you how much I love you later tonight." He goes up to my neck and bites it lightly, I moan quietly and say "Can't wait. It's finally done. We finally said I do."

Alright guys Adam here! Lily might write a epilogue or something. She's actually out of the hospital on Monday. So great her warmly when she is back, she's been through the a lot on the past years. It was fun to write, might actually see if she wants to share her account. I'm a YouTuber writer I write YouTube fics.
