Hanging out with Emily (14)

I am woken up by a kiss on the cheek. I loo up to brown eyes and a smile with dimples. The first thing I think is "God please let them treat me properly. And normally." Hotch smiles at me "You're gonna stay with Emily tonight. So I can pick you up tomorrow for our date. We will rotate where you stay. We plan on treating you normally. But you are in danger, so we have we take extra precautions. Okay?" I smile and hug him "Thank you Aaron." Then I look around and the team is watching smiling "Thank you... All of you. I don't want to be treated differently. But I do expect tears from Garcia wether I want them or not." Everyone gives a light laugh. I get up and feel pain on my side. I flinch slightly and I notice Aaron goes pale. I look down and see the healing cut opened again. Emily pushes Hotch out of the way with some gauze I feel myself getting dragged to the bathroom. She pulls up my shirt and I flinch. But she stays quiet. I sigh and look at her "Emily..." She looks at me "You need to let it heal. The scars will be small that way and less visible." I frown at her sad tone... How could she know that. I don't push. She wraps it up then smiles at me "What did you wanna do when we get to my place?" I smile "Drink." She lets out a laugh. "Deal." We both walk out of the bathroom jet.

Aaron approaches me "You good?" I nod and kiss him. "I will be." Aaron then turns into Hotch and looks at the team "Strauss is giving us a week off. Unless an emergency comes up. Enjoy your week. Oh and Lily I'll pick you up at 6pm tomorrow. Have a good night everyone." He kisses me and leaves. I can't help but blush. JJ and Reid step off the plane holding hands. Rossi and Morgan step off the plane talking about what they're gonna do, they are planning a golfing trip. Emily and I step off and like I said I was taken into a panic hug "Lily. Omg you're okay. I'm  so sorry about everything. I made you cupcakes!" I look at a panic and crying Garcia. Emily lets out a small laugh "I'll meet you at the SUV." I nod and she leaves me with the upset Garcia. I take her hand and she stop rambling

"Pen, thank you for the cupcakes. But I'm okay now. I've got you guys to help me and these delicious cupcakes. But I don't want special treatment." I say firmly. She smiles "You my French warrior are a blessing. I am so happy you are better. And you are officially part of the family. Not only because you're dating boss man but because you are strong like my other super heroes. Anyway I leave you to my raven haired beauty, if you need anything call me. Love you peaches." With a kiss on the cheek she leaves to go to her car. I smile "She's something different. But I like her." I open the tub and pull out a cupcake and take a bite "Mmmm, gotta get her to make more of these."

I make my way to the SUV. Where Emily is waiting for me,  she notices me eating a cupcake she smiles "Sweet tooth?" I smile "Yes, want one." She smiles "Maybe later. For now I've got to drive us to my place before Sergio get mad." I lift a brow "You have a boyfriend?" She laughs "Sergio is my cat." I laugh. "Hey Emily.... Can I ask you something personal?" She tenses and nods...

"How did you know about healing scars?" She takes a deep breath "When I was in high school. I felt unwanted and angry... The first time I cut I was 14. I stopped around the age of 22. Lily one thing I've learnt is that yes there are monsters out there, but you can't let them win. Has hard as it is sometimes, the more you harm yourself the more you let yourself feel hurt... They win." I let that sink in and I nod "Thank you." We are at her house and she stops the car "Lily can this stay between us." I nod "Of course." She smiles "You've got us now. Hopefully that's enough to put the razor down. But if you slip. You tell me or Aaron, or anyone on the team. We're a family and we are going to help you." With that she steals a cupcake and takes a bite "I love that women." She says. I laugh "Me too." We get out of the car an make our way upstairs then my phone vibrates

JJ: Heyy... I know we barely know each other but I wanted to say. If you ever need anything I'm here for you... I lost my sister to suicide... She cut her wrist and bled out.
I stare at my phone tears forming my eyes.
Lily: I'm so sorry JJ. I promise I'll talk to someone if something happens.
JJ: Deal.

I sigh at my phone and Emily comes in "Are you okay?" I nod "JJ told me about her sister." Emily smiles sadly. "Yeah. I had a feeling she would." I stay quiet "I've got drinks and the jacuzzi running. Come on." I was on my feet and dragged away by one of my team member... No one of my friends.
