Before you delve into the story, I need to give you a tiny warning. 😊
This book was written in a completely different era of my life... I was 16. 💀
So if you're a sucker for perfection, flawless grammar, or expecting the writing skills of my current self... this may not be the book for you.
I've already gone back and edited out a lot of things, especially some misogynistic ideas that my younger self didn't even realize were problematic at the time. Looking back now, I was like... girl, what were you thinking?💀
I also noticed a few inconsistencies while editing, especially with the character POV switching. Sometimes teenage me would randomly jump from one character's head to another like it was completely normal. So if you spot that, just know... I saw it too, and I'm actively working towards editing.
And don't even get me started on the writing itself. While editing, I was cringing every five business seconds. I literally had to pause and question my life choices.
But hey... that's part of the journey.
I'm turning 21 soon... (Okay, not that soon. It's next March. Sorry, guys, I kind of exaggerated.)
Still, I'm really proud of how far I've come. Despite all the grammar mistakes, awkward dialogue, the occasional POV gymnastics, and everything else that makes me want to hide under a blanket now, this little book still managed to reach a million readers
That will always mean the world to me.
I actually thought about taking it down because the cringe is so real 😭, but I decided to leave it up. It's proof of where I started, how much I've grown, and every writer deserves to have that reminder.
So if you come across something that makes you go, "Girl... what?" ... just know my 16-year-old self wrote it. Please be kind. We listen, we don't judge. 😭❤️ Or maybe... a little?! Just, a little.
Now go enjoy the story... and try not to roast teenage me too hard. 🤍

P.S. The original title of this book was Daddy's Little Devil. It definitely didn't survive into 2026, so I changed it.
