CEO Trouble

My mind awoke to the ringing of my alarm. I reached over and grabbed my phone sliding the red X across the screen as my father walked in with a tray that held my breakfast. "Good Morning to you and how do you do? We're all in our places with bright shiny faces~" I sat up groaning towards him.

"Do you seriously have to sing that every morning?" I ask as i grab my fork and start to bite into my toast. "Why of course i do! Today especially. Very important people are coming so we have to do our best." He states ruffling my hair. I slap his hand away in annoyance but he just smiles walking towards my door. He stops in the doorway and looks back to me, "Once you're done getting dressed, set the tray beside the sink, i'll get it later before i leave." I nod and continue to eat my breakfast.

This was my morning people, do you enjoy my struggle? Oh you do? Tich. Jerks.

On a different note, my name is Ellie. (Short for Elisabeth) My father is the Secretary of the CEO where we both work at, JoyZone. While he is so high in the ranks, im at the lowest as a receptionist. Its not that bad of a job, take calls, set up appointments, sort schedules for the workers and maybe an errand here and there.

My co-worker Isabella sometimes has to work the desk herself while i run errands for my father. Since he is the secretary,he has to go everywhere with the CEO and so when he is rushing he sometimes gives me things that he has to deliver or get for him to make his job easier. Why do they allow for me to help without making a fuss? Who knows.

I set the tray beside me on the bed as i pulled my covers over to the side before slipping into my slippers and walking to the bathroom to start my day. I sigh and look up into the mirror and go through my daily routine:

1. Wash face

2. Brush teeth

3. Brush hair

4. Put on makeup for the day

5. Get dressed with the outfit i picked out the night before

I grabbed the tray on my way out to the kitchen setting it beside the sink like my dad asked of me earlier. I looked to the clock on the wall noticing it read 7:24 AM, i only had a little more than 30 minutes to get to work since it starts at 8:00 AM. So with this new information i walked over and grabbed my keys and bag.

I walked to the living room and kissed my dad goodbye before walking out to the car. Why isn't he coming along with me? Well being the secretary and all has its perks, he doesn't have to leave until 9:00 AM (that butt) which is why earlier he stated 'before I leave' instead of 'before we leave.'

I looked at the clock on my computer after i finished putting in the last appointment from the calls this morning. My stomach growled as i saw it read 11:48 AM, 12 more minutes to lunch time. My Co-worker Isabella that i mentioned earlier, glanced over as a giggle passed her lips. I turned my chair around towards her and crossed my arms.

"What are you laughing at huh? Your stomach growls way louder!" She smiled as she turned to face me and pointed behind me at a group of people who were looking at me and laughing.

"So loud that people who are 20 or so feet away can hear?" She smirked as she proved her point since i covered my face and groaned.

"Shut up." I turned around to go back to work but a voice stopped me.

"Ellie? Can you run this over to LastTip for me? I have a meeting to get to." I looked up and saw my dad holding out a few files to me. I took them but one thing bugged me. LastTip is our rival company. Why would we be bringing files to them? "Dad?"

"What is it?"

"Why are you bringing files to LastTip?"

He looked at his watch as he started to walk backwards towards the front doors. "Its for the Lawsuit against them!" With that said he turned around and ran off to the car waiting out front. Still confused i looked over to Isabella and she shrugged her shoulders going back to typing on the keyboard. I sighed sitting down and logging out of my computer. I put the files into my bag and grabbed my keys setting off to the LastTip building. There goes getting to eat lunch.

I pulled into the parking lot of the building before getting out of my car and locking it on my way to the elevator. Once i got to the first floor i walked up to the desk, when they saw me they stood up and gave me a lanyard with a card on it. I nodded but i lingered at the desk.

"I have files about the Lawsuit, Who do i give them too?" They pointed to the elevator, "Go to the 18th floor and tell the receptionist there that you are here with lawsuit papers." I nodded and smiled with a thank you.

Once i finally reached the floor the doors opened to a wide open room with floor to ceiling windows on one side which lit the room up brightly. On the other side were 2 couches one red and the other white for their companies color and a good amount of plants spread among the furniture. I walked slowly taking in the surrounding area before the woman behind the desk called me out. "Ma'am?"

"Oh hello! Sorry! This room is very beautiful~ I wish i could work in this peaceful area..." She smiled politely but i noticed that she seemed annoyed and i got the vibe she didn't enjoy my small talk. I smiled back before setting my hands on the desk.

"I'm here to talk about the Lawsuit?" She pressed a button and spoke into the mic.

"Mr. Kim, there's a girl here from...?"

I leaned over and whispered to her, "JoyZone"

"Joyzone about the lawsuit; Would you like me to send her in?" While she talked i looked around the room some more noticing the paintings here and there.

I heard his voice come over the speaker, "Yes please. Thank you"

She nodded and pointed to the room next to her. "Right through those doors." I nodded in thanks and walked over to open them. I shut them behind me and walked up to the desk and noticed the glass name stamp which read 'CEO ~ Kim Minseok'. I looked up at the man in the chair and internally gasped. This man didn't look like he was even 20 then again neither does my CEO. While i was inspecting his face i saw he was talking to me and gently shook my head. "I'm sorry what?"

He looked down with a slight smile. "I asked what is your name?" I blushed from embarrassment as i smiled and held my hand out to him, "I'm Elisabeth but you may call me Ellie." He stood up and grasped my hand gently (You would not believe how soft this mans hands are because Dayum) before kissing it.

"I'm Minseok but Please, call me Xiumin." I smiled as i looked into his eyes with a blush rising to my face. I sat down in the chair and got the files out before taking a deep breath.

'Dad... What did you get me into?'
