CEO Trouble

"What do you think you're doing to her is the real question."

I grabbed at the hands that held my hair whimpering and clenching my eyes closed in pain. When the male voice reached my ears i opened them and tried to look behind me at the person but i couldn't.

"She is a spy. She was looking into your room and listening to what you said." i heard one of the guards say. 

"She is nothing of the sort. She is my Girlfriend." 

I felt the hand let go of my hair and i grasped my head in pain tears already streaking my face. This is gonna hurt for a day or so. Jesus. 

"We're terribly sorry sir." I opened my eyes finally and looked behind me and saw Xiumin with Kyungsoo a few feet behind him eyes wide at the situation. 

"You can show you are by finding a new job somewhere else. Ill make sure to get you fired for harassment. Leave." 

I watched as the men bowed and left without a sound. I looked over to Xiumin who watched the men until they were out of eye sight and his once hard and demanding eyes turned soft with worry once they swept over me. He rushed over and bent down to look over my body. 

"Are you ok? They didn't hurt you to badly did they?" His voice full of worry.

I nodded and brushed my fingers through my hair trying to set it back in place. "I'm ok, i just have a slight headache now from him pulling on my hair." 

I felt his arm slip under my knees and the other behind my back as he lifted me up bridal style. "Lets go get ice cream to make you feel better then ok?" He started to walk off past the car that i originally came in and towards his own.

I looked up at him and went silent as i soaked in his facial features. I'v never been this close to his face, so to see his puffy cheeks, soft looking lips, perfectly pointed nose, anti-gravity hair, and his beautifully shaped eyes made me fall silent. "Like what you see?~" I saw his lips move but his comment made me remember Kyungsoo. I looked over his shoulder towards Kyungsoo to see him watching us leave with a hurt expression. 

Kyungsoo...

I sat silently in my chair on the balcony licking slowly at my ice cream cone. I had my legs pulled up underneath me and i checked my phone for the 5th time in the last 30 seconds. Kyungsoo hasn't messaged me and either has my father. 

"You know, if you keep licking your ice cream like that i might not be able to hold back." I looked towards Xiumin who was on the other side of the table looking at me with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. 

"Wha-....." My face instantly burst into a bright red as i squeaked and looked down into my lap. I heard a beautiful laugh come out from Xiumin and it only made it worse. Knowing i made him laugh like that made me swell with happiness but so did things with Kyungsoo. I gently shook my head and told myself not to think about him in this moment, it's not fair for Xiumin.

I quickly ate my ice cream when ever Xiumin wasn't look but he took note of my pattern and decided that since he finished his, he would sit and stare at me. I huffed and turned around in my seat and finished it. Once i swallowed the last bite i felt Xiumin wrap his arms around my neck and gently kiss my cheek. "So adorable~" 

Kyungsoo's comment came rushing to my mind;

 "Don't act like you care Xiumin. You'll end up hurting her like all the other girls you've had in your life."   

I pushed his arms gently off of me and wiped my cheek as i stood up and walked towards the door to the cafe. 

"Did i do something wrong?" I stopped and looked towards him, "What the guard said was right."

"What do you mean?" A genuine confused look crossed his face before he remembered and made an "O" with his lips.

"What did you hear that made you storm off like this?" He looked concerned  for what i heard.

"That you'll end up hurting me just like any of the girls you've had before me. So i beg to question how do i know what you're doing right now with me isn't just like playing a card in a game?" 

He slowly walked over to me and held me at arms length, "Shall i explain somewhere more private?" 

I watched him carefully flicking my focus to both of his eyes before silently nodding.

I was currently sitting in Xiumins home on his couch while he was brewing some tea for us. I took in my surroundings and my mind wondered back to the girls that Kyungsoo had mentioned. I really have low self-confidence and once my trust is broken or i have reason to doubt or be suspicious  it's really hard to change it back to where i wont over look everything but i have a feeling that what ever Xiumin decides to tell me ill believe like a love sick puppy. 

And that scares me.

"Here you go!" I took the tea he gave me and dipped my head in thanks. I gently sipped it as he got out 2 coasters and set his down, mine following. I was looking at the tea when he suddenly grabbed my hands and pushing me to face him on the couch. 

"Ellie." 

My breath hitched at the way he said my name and the smoothness made me listen. 

"Y-yes?" I watched his eyes carefully as he let one of my hands go so he could run it through his hair before sighing. He scooted closer to me and grasped my hands together. 

"The reason you'll know that you are different from any of the girls before you is because im still here. The reason you know you're different, is because they didn't keep me on the edge, they never made me lay in bed late into the night dreaming of all the things i want to do with you." He shook his head and raised his eyes to the ceiling before looking at me again, "What i mean by that isn't sexual things Ellie. I feel the urge to go on walks in the park with you, climb a mountain, adopt a dog, go for random drives around town just to waste time with you. The reason you're different is because you don't fake anything with me. You don't try to flirt with me or ask me to buy you everything. You aren't by my side because of my money. Ellie...waking up to your face in the morning and just be able to watch the sun cross your face  while you slept is all i want."

"I love you Ellie."
