CEO Trouble

His voice came out as choked and raspy,

"Don't..."

I opened my eyes and stared at my ceiling letting my alarm ring out around me. Memories of the day before came flooding my mind: My father waking up, Xiumin slamming the door and walking out, and Kyungsoo hugging me. I blushed at the thought and closed my eyes remembering the scene.

"Kyungsoo? What's wrong?"  I gently patted his back trying to comfort him and felt him lean more onto me. I had to secure my footing just to keep him up. 

"Just... Just hold me for a moment please." 

I awkwardly looked at all the trophies and certificates in the cabinets behind his desk as i continued to pat his back. 

I opened my eyes and sat up. It seemed to go like that for a while but he suddenly went back to his normal self like nothing happened. 'Tich, i don't understand his plan.' I jumped up out of bed and quickly got dressed and brushed my hair. I'm going to see dad today! 

I picked up a sandwich and some chips for my breakfast and ate on the way to work since i was slightly rushed. I got to the company and parked my car as usual and made my way over to see Isabella.

"Having fun without me?" I walked up with a big smile upon my face as i saw her scowl. 

"No, the new person is so annoying; All she does is talk and talk and talk. She doesn't get anything done." I watched as she leaned on her elbows and held her head between her hands, "Soooo~" She smiled suggestively and wiggled her eyebrows.

"Excuse me? What do you mean by that?" I smiled at her with a confused look.

"How's working next to the big man? Is he as cute up close as far away? Does his butt look better closer too?" I instantly turned bright red and looked around before shushing her covering my face. 

"So it's true! I knew it. Ohhh you lucky girl!" I rolled my eyes towards her excitement and just waved her away. "Have a good day Bella~" 

"You too Ellie!"

Spending the whole morning in the office helping Kyungsoo some more with the project was hella-to-the-max  awkward. Not really talking and side glaces was all that happened really. So you should assume how glad i was when the bells chimed throughout the building for lunch time.

"Ready to go to the hospital?" I already had my bag on my shoulder and my keys in hand when he asked and i eagerly nodded. 

On the way to the hospital i asked Kyungsoo if we could stop and get my dad his favorite lunch. 

"Where would we get it?" He asked glancing sideways at me before looking back up at the red light.

"It's near the hospital, on the way to it actually. So we can just stop at the hospital and walk to it or i can go and you can go up and see him instead." I was secretly hoping he'd go up to see my dad instead of coming with me because it's still pretty awkward between us.

"No it's fine, we can go together." I saw him smirk but i ignored it and rested my head on my hand and continued to look out the window. 

Once parked i quickly opened the door and hopped out. I closed it and took off speed walking to the small cafe. 

"Hey wait for me!" I heard rushed steps behind me and slowed down. He just needed someone in that moment there isn't any reason to act this way toward him. I did a side glance at him but continued on my way. 

Why so many side glances?

I slid open the hospital door and stepped inside and walked over to dad. I set the food on the table over his bed and hugged him tightly. 

"How are you?" 

He smiled weakly at me, "I'm doing good. Just a bit sore from the surgery" 

I nodded as i sat beside him and held his hand, "I brought your favorite lunch from the place you always go to." He looked at the bag and reached in pulling out a styrofoam box. Opening it he gasped and quickly reached for the fork.

"I only had hospital food once yesterday and im so glad i don't have to eat it again today. You're the best daughter out there." I watched as he stuffed his face and laughed at him. 

"Ahem." I looked back and remembered kyungsoo came with. (I didn't forget but i migh- Ok i did. Shut up.) 

"Ah! Kyungsoo, you alright there?" 

I held my hands together in my lap as they continued to talk. I kinda zoned out but i was pulled back by my dad calling my name. 

"You need to be in the hospital too?" I looked up at him and rolled my eyes at the playful smile on his face. "Oh hush. I was thinking. What did you need?" 

"Mr. Do here was telling me about how you're helping him with the new project." He looked at Kyungsoo, "Was it to design a building layout for that new plot?" Kyungsoo nodded, "She's very helpful."

'tich. I don't even do anything. You never let me.' I grumbled and looked at the painting on the wall. 

While they continued to talk i decided to text Xiumin. 'Haven't heard from him for a few days other than yesterday. Though that doesn't count since we didn't talk.'

I tisked out loud at his flirty ways. 'That boy is looking for trouble i swear.' I glanced up at the time before slipping my phone into my purse. 

"Davis, we have to get back to work. I'm sorry we can't stay longer" Kyungsoo stood up and fixed his suit. "Oh it's quite alright."

I stood up and pushed the chair back into the table. "I'll be back tomorrow ok dad?" I learned over and kissed his forehead. "Ok but just know you're not welcome in this room without any lunch!" I rolled my eyes once more and shook my head. 

"If you say so."

"Ellie." I shook a little more, "Ellie, Wake up." I slid my eyes open and saw kyungsoo who was shaking me and a bit close. My cheeks instantly flushed pink before i sat up clearing my throat. "S-sorry."

He chuckled and opened his door, "Tis quite alright" I looked at him confused, 'Where did the british come from?' I sighed and went to open my door but as i pushed against it, it opened up and i accidentally fell onto Kyungsoo. (I assume you know what will happen since this is so obvious~)

He managed to catch me and stand me up but something happened while i fell,
