I got up early in the morning. It was 7 in the morning. I got out of bed. I went downstairs to see Tez, Ben, Jake, Luke, and Bryant still asleep in the same positions. I started to take out supplies to cook with. I made scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, and hashbrown. I made a lot for everyone. I put everything in the dining room which was a really big table for like 22 people. Why buy a big dining table? Just in case things like this happened. In the kitchen, there is a table for 4 people. So we don't usually have to use the dining table much. All of sudden, everyone wakes up. Everyone sat down. Sammy sat all the way in the end of table on the left and I sat next to him on the left. Ben sat all the way in the of the table of the right side. Everyone just starts putting things on their plate.
"Before we do anything, can we do a prayer? I haven't done one in forever." I say. Everyone nods. We all grab hands.
"I just wanna thank god for having us together. Also for giving me Lilo. Without her I don't think all my friends or as I call Family will ever be like this. Just thank you for being here for all of us. Thank you for having this food in front of today. Just thank you very much. Amen." I opened my eyes and I smiled to everyone while a year slipped away. Now, we all started eating. It was all loud but the kind I like. Where everyone talked about something. It felt good.
