Chapter 16: A Change Of Thought

Justin's POV

I watch Selena wave to me as she walks into her house and disappears through the door. How fucking lucky can one guy get? I start the car and pull out of the Gomez's driveway. As I begin the short drive home, I smile to myself as I think of our afternoon together. Those lips of hers will be the death of me, I swear. It's been a while since I've actually been this happy. Selena makes me a different person. I'm not gonna lie, in the beginning, I only liked her because of her body, but after we became friends, I realized I didn't want just sex from her, I wanted more. It's not like the sexual attraction went away either, I am a man, but I love her. I really, truly love her. I turn off the engine and walk slowly into my house. I hear a ping come from my phone and grab it from my pocket.

I wrinkle my nose in disgust and delete the text. What the hell is wrong with this girl? The more I push her away, the more she won't leave me alone. Is it absolutely impossible for her to stop pushing herself onto guys and stop whoring around? Whatever, she's not my problem.

I open up the thread of texts between Selena and I and start typing a new one.

Hey babe, I'm about to go to bed. I love you. Sweet Dreams, beautiful

I click send and plug the charger into my phone. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth before slipping my t-shirt over my head and taking off my jeans. I'm too tired to check my phone, but I fall asleep with the thought of Selena in my mind.
