Chapter 3

Levy's P.O.V

"Shrimp.." Gajeel huffed catching his breath.

"I'm sorry!!" I cried running to his arms. "I wasn't focused on getting back home but I should be because that's where my true family is!! I just wanted to explore the human world-"

"I don't blame you.. At first I wanted to stay here as long as I can with you.. But after seeing those girls be mean to you I just wanna protect you from that.." He hugged me tighter as I felt myself drown into his chest.

"Lets go home.."

Lucy P.O.V

Its been now two days that we been stuck in the human world. "Whats the plan now Gray?" I groaned popping my head from under water.

"I can't seem to find anyone! I just see a lot of fish!" Natsu mumbled eating one of the fish.

'This is hopeless.. How are we going to get back home..' I held my hands looking down. Then I felt the tears swelling in my eyes. I focused on the creature in front of me, trying not to blink. But my salty tears streamed down along my cheeks

"Luce what's wrong?" I felt his hot breath come across my skin and his warm body wrap around me.

"Nothing, Natsu" I turned away once again pushing him away from me. Usually he'd give up and leave me, but my eyes widen when he made me face him.

"Something is wrong.. Your crying" He wiped the tears off my flushed face. I stood their speechless staring into his eyes finding sadness. More tears came falling down as I felt bad for always pushing him away.

"I'm sorry.." was the only words I managed to sniff out. I then found myself lost in his eyes. His hands cuffed my face wiping the tears and I felt his toasty lips.

"Juvia!!" Gray shouted. Natsu groaned pulling away from me.

"I know you miss her, but this the third time you claimed to see her!"

"No this time I do! look!" I glanced over to where his index finger was pointing.

What my eyes saw was terrible. My sister the new queen along with other mermaids were in fishing nets being pulled up by humans.
