Someone knocked at the door.

I was immediately snapped out of my daydreaming and pulled back into reality. I looked in front of me at the mirror. I wore a slim fitting white dress that came up into a halter neck and had a slit flashing my legs everytime I took a step.

My hair was down in long beach waves and my make-up was done flawlessly by a make-up artist Taylor had recommended.

Even through the mirror my shaking was visible. My fingers trembled and the shuddering of the white polish on my nails only accentuated this.

I took a deep calming breath and walked towards the door.

Taylor greeted me as soon as the door was opened and slid in. However the flashes of cameras and the loud buzz of voices were not hidden by his speed.

He closed the door and looked me up and down appreciatively.

"Kylie you have no idea how amazing you look, white is definitely your colour," Taylor said, his eyes still raking over me.

I grinned at him and at the mention of the white dress looked down to my hand wiggling my fingers letting the beautiful diamond on the ring twinkle.

Taylor caught my gaze and grinned, "good job really."

I laughed and slid my arm through his.

"You ready for this?" He asked, changing his expression into one of concern. He knew I found public appearances hard but I could do this. I needed to do this.

I was accompanying Taylor to a movie premier, it was my third time in the 2 years we had been together and I still wasn't quite used to the pictures and press. This had definitely been a issue in our relationship but I could do it, if it meant being with this man in front of me.

Our engagement had came out last week aswell so I knew tonight was going to be full of it.

"Ready as i'll ever be," I answered shooting him a small smile.

Taylor smiled back and pulled the door open. Immediately I was shocked by the flashing cameras that left white dots in my vision. The shouts and cries pulling me out of the calm I had previously felt.

"Kylie! How did Taylor propose?"

"Are you excited for tonight?"

"Taylor, when is the wedding?"

We walked by ignoring questions and slid into the black limo waiting.

"So..." Taylor began as we shut the limo door, "I was wondering if we could go for a star wars theme for the wedding?"

I stilled in disbelief and utter horror. If I ever had a star wars themed wedding Marlo would literally drill me for being so whipped.

"Jokesss," Taylor said laughing. Immediately I felt myself brighten up and smile in relief.

"Your such an idiot," I said, playfully punching his shoulder.

He just tugged me close, "but thats why you're marrying me," he whispered, drawing my face close to his.

"mmm," I hummed in agreement. Yep, Marlo was right. I was totally and utterly whipped.

I sat on his lap tracing his jaw line with my finger. We'd gotten past so much, done so much and this man had really changed me... in a good way.

He really was an idiot, taking on the fragile person I was before he'd become part of my life. He'd been my rock through my family issues and I knew one day he'd be the perfect father, far better than any I had ever encountered.

But thats what was so brilliant about him. He was new, different and he was all mine.

"What you thinking about?" Taylor murmured, his warm breath hitting my face slightly as he spoke. His eyes twinkled in the dim lighting causing me to have a flashback to our first ever encounter. I chuckled impulsively and grinned back at him.

"Nothing."

"Good," he replied. And with that said he pulled me close and set his lips on mine.

Well thats that folks!

Hope you enjoyed my story, I wrote it when I was very young and decided it was about time to finish it off. Thank you all for reading, commenting and voting.

Please read my other book, Fate's Girl, which is very different but definitely the better of the two books in both idea and writing.

This was a pleasure to write and really helped develop my writing.
