Taylor POV:
I woke up to the feel of something touching my cheek. Looking around I noticed Kylie sleeping right beside me. Her face pointing towards mine and her warm breath fanning my cheek. Her hair was splayed out around her and she had somehow managed to get curled into my covers. She was beautiful even whilst sleeping. I gently shook her awake. I didnt really want to stir her but knew she would need to get up for the cafe. Didnt it open around now?
Crap it was 8:00am...
"Kylie.. Kylie you need to wake up." I said quickly trying to stir her.
She slowly opened her eyes then widened them in panic as soon as realisation dawned.
"Oh no, the shop-" gasp "I need to get up-" gasp "get changed-"
"Kylie! calm down you go get ready I'll run the shop meanwhile."
"Are you sure?" She asked tentively. Her eyes showing her uneasiness and mistrust.
"I'll be fine. Trust me i used to work in a restaurant." I added to reasure her.
"Okay..."
She scrambled up from the bed in her pyjamas. Which may I add were sexy as hell. She then did a quick jump over the balcony and into her room. Closing her curtains behind her, obviously not trusting me not to watch her.
I also got ready, but in lightening speed. I pulled on a abercrombe hoodie and jeans then jogged downstairs grabbing the key to her house Kylie had given me just the day before. I found a couple of people waiting outside who immediately fired me with questions about why it wasnt open when it said it would be. And that this shop has never let them down before.
I ignored them both and unlocked the Cafe and walked inside behind the counter. I served several customers. It had been about 10minutes since I'd left Kylie and i was wondering what she had gotten up to.
It was all going great until one of the customers asked for a Coffee Latte. I searched for the machine and searched for a button. There was only one button for Coffee so I did it. But what is a Latte? I looked around wide eyed. As the man at the counter stared at me impatiently, the tapping of his fingers on the front desk gradually getting louder and faster.
This only panicked me more. Kylie where are you!
As if by magic i heard Kylie giggle as she came down the stairs and watched my panicked form. She shook her head, releasing some of the damp hair out of her pony tail.
"Hi Kylie!" She grinned. "What is it that you want?"
"Er, i ordered a Coffee Latte.. about her" He glanced at his watch "five minutes ago."
Kylie just laughed. "Alright, coming right up."
I watched her as she moved skillfully around the kitchen.
She handed him his Latte and as soon as he had gone she burst out laughing.
"Are you serious Taylor?! You dont know how to make a Latte!"
"Er..." i mumbled. "Actually... i dont actually know what a Latte is.." I felt my cheeks begin to flame.
Kylie just laughed even more. I began grinning then. I figured seeing Kylie laughing after last night was worth getting embarrassed.
"Well.. i guess being famous you dont have to know how to make a latte or even know what one is. You'd get one anyway,"
Her tone wasnt bitter but it wasnt nice ether. And i felt myself flinch at her words. This is exactly what i knew would happen. Kylie would treat me differently now she knew i was famous.
It always happened. I'd lost friends. family, girlfriends all because they couldnt handle the fame or just treated me as someone else. Someone who wasnt the real me.
Ive often thought about my fans, and wondered they cant really love me or like me as me. They just like or love the person i act as in my movies.
I think Kylie had noticed my tension and instantly glided over to me and ran her hands down my arm towards my hand which she grabbed.
"i'm sorry Taylor... didnt realise it would effect you like that."
"No, its fine" I said brightening up.
"Lets do something," I said.
"But im working?" She asked her brows knitting together into a frown.
"Surely you can miss one day right?"
"I guess.." She mumbled, playing with my fingers.
"Cool." I grinned. "So why dont you teach me how to bake?"
She looked up smiling at me. "You dont know how to bake?"
"Well I did it with my mum when i was a kid but thats it really. Havent done it for years."
"Aww. Alright then." She said grinning up at me. I loved seeing her smile. Right then i just wanted to kiss her and found myself lowering my head to meet hers.
Her smile faltered and she turned her head sharply and dragged me with her, locking the door and closing the sign. Then she walked me into the kitchen.
"So now its my turn to teach you something." she smirked.
I sighed, looks like my famous Taylor Lautner charm hadnt worked on Kylie. I wish she could just see how much i liked her.
Snapping me out of my thoughts she jumped up onto the counter, then began ordering me round. I obeyed... frankly to scared to disobey. Kylie was no softie when she meant buisness.
