Taylor POV:
"You didnt think I'd leave you now Kylie?" I whispered in her ear whilst rubbing smooth circles on her lower waist. I watched her lips tug up cautiously into a smile.
"Why... I could always hope." She said turning around in my arms to face me. I chuckled and pulled her into a massive hug.
We both slowly pulled back. I watched her expression, I think she noticed me watching her and looked up to meet my gaze. We both began leaning in, the moment ive been dying for this whole time of getting to know her. Just as our noses touched the bell from the front door went off and Kylie jumped away, her face alarmed and slightly scared.
Damn you stupid customer. I'd gotten so far with Kylie and i think i might actually like her... I'm not a relationship kind of guy so this is a big deal for me.
I sighed and muttered under my breath about bad timing.
Snapping out of my annoyed state i followed Kylie's gaze which rested on the man that had come through the door. She looked astonished, angry and bitter, looking at the man again i noticed he was quite a sturdy build but muscle wise not fat. He was wearing light jeans and a shirt, his face was something i recognised but i wasnt sure where from. He had light stubble and brown wavy hair. Then i looked at his eyes. Thats when it clicked. I knew exactly who this guy was. His eyes shone emerald green and were identical to Kylie's.
"Hey Kylie, its me, its Dad." The man said.
And thats when all hell broke loose.
"What the hell do you think your doing?!" Kylie yelled, not for the first time today.
"I und-" The man tried to compromise.
"No. You dont understand. I grew up without a dad all because you couldnt handle having a baby. You left mum and me. Well you know what dad" She said bitterly. "I ended growing up without ether of you"
Suddenly realising this wasnt anything to do with me I spoke up.
"I think I best be going... erm see you later Kylie." Then I just left.

Kylie POV:
I was so angry.
I'd pictured as a child that one day I'd meet my dad and it would be such a happy reunion. But the older I'd gotten the more bitter and resentful i had become. Until the reunion wasnt happy at all but there simply was no reunion. Now. Its actually happening, I'm just angry. And its like all that anger I've held against him all my life is just surging through me.
I waited for him to say something. Apologise. Say how regretful he is. But all he said is.
"I need help Kylie."
I tried to keep my voice calm, unsurprised, not disapointed.
"Why should I help you. When did you ever help me?"
"Babe, look me nd your mum we were exactly compatable. She had a dream to have a family, to be a wife. And I had a buisness to run. A child wasnt exactly what i wanted or could cope with having."
"Was that men't to make me pity you?" my voice now hinting at my composed anger.
"I heard what happened to your mum babe, sorry, but that really isn't my fault so you shouldnt be blaming me."
"I'm not blaming you! I blame you for leaving because of the most stupid circumstances!"
"I understand that, but babe please just hear me out. I didn't come her to argue. I need your help, my er buisness has hit a bit of a problem... and I need somewhere to stay for a bit. I dont have any money for anywhere so I found out where you lived from the social workers and hoped you'd take me in. Please babe."
I watched his face, it looked practised, his whole speech. And I knew he was hiding something. But i was angry and hated the man in front of me I was unfortunate enough to have to call father. I didnt say anything. But went over to the till pulled out a $200 bill then slapped it into his hand. I looked up confused. To be fair I was surprised at my generosity but I figured I couldn't exactly have him out on the streets what if someone asked who his daughter was! I'm joking, but seriously he may not of acted like a father but he was my father.
"Here, have this but I dont want to see you again, ever. Dont you dare come back because I'm tired of people that don't stay. Go and stay at the bed and breakfast in the next town, and leave in the morning."
My father looked up from the wad of notes in his hand. His eyes now had lost its sparkle and cocky attitude. He looked sincere.
"Your so much like your mother" He spoke softly then took the notes and went out of the door, disappearing into the night.
I stood there rigid and unmoving. Then I just crumpled, tears feel from my face and i sat down still facing the closed door with my knees pulled up to my chest. As I sobbed silently I rocked myself back and forth as a form of comfort.
About an hour later I had stopped crying and decided to do some baking before a much needed early night. I made brownies, pasties, malteser and rolo muffins, and a coffee cake. Then i changed out of my apron and into a oversized t-shirt, keeping my pants on. I then just snuggled into my bed and cried myself to sleep.

Ding
The coffee shop door opened.
In walked my dad, a woman, two young girls around the ages of 15 and 10 and a baby boy who lay asleep in my dad's arms.
"I thought I told you to never come back." I spoke to him angrily, whilst glaring.
"I know you said that babe but I just thought you'd want to meet my new family." He said smiling.
"Here is my wife, Keira." He said pointing to the woman. "And here are all my children, Josh, Gina and Molly."
I stared still, open mouthed as he introduced all of his 'perfect family.' When he'd left his first family because he couldn't cope with having children.
I woke up panting. My eyes were wet with silent tears.
Then i did the first thing that came to mind. I got up out of bed, climbed over my balcony railing onto Taylors balcony then i strode straight into his room. He was sleeping peacefully in his bed. I slipped into bed with him and seemed to drift off straight away into a peaceful sleep, with no horrifying dreams.
