It was a warm, dark night in Gotham. The last day of summer making it the perfect day to rob one of the biggest jewelry stores in Gotham. (If you didn't know, Catwoman loves jewelry and will steal it right off your neck before you can blink your eyes) She had a rough life as a child, living on the streets, that's how her life of crime began.

Then her life changed. One night she was on the balcony of an apartment building when a family started walking down the alley. There was a man, a woman, and a young boy. They looked like they were rich. Even the boy was dressed well. Then a man came out of the dark alley and shot the man and the woman, leaving the boy crying in the dark alley.

This was a dark way to meet someone, but this was how the Catwoman met her first friend. His name was Bruce Wayne. She crawled from the balcony to comfort Bruce but as soon as the cops arrived and Bruce turned his head, she was gone, into the warm night air, she was gone.

The next month Bruce had come back surveying the crime scene where his parents were killed, and every year on the anniversary of the night his parents died he came back. Although he didn't Selina Kyle aka the Catwoman was watching him. She knew when he would come to the scene. And everytime he came, she came too. Hiding on the building above watching her first friend fall to his knees with tears forming in his eyes.

She had a feeling every time she saw him that she should comfort him. But she didn't. She knew that she had some type of feelings for him. Feelings that she couldn't hide or throw away. She also knew that her past experiences with love ended in betrayal. She was petrified. Scared that if she ever loved again she would end up hurt. So she stayed hidden like she always had even before she met Bruce. In the shadows, all alone, almost as if she was a ghost, invisible to everyone.

Twenty years later, Selina Kyle becomes the Catwoman. She was the cat burglar of Gotham. Has been for years but now she's being seen. Now she's a part of the real crime. Robbing jewelry stores, malls, and clothing stores. But tonight, she met her fate. Tonight, she met the Batman.
