The next day was hectic. Selina was rescheduling the honeymoon, Bruce was recovering and Alfred was ready to strangle them both. Selina kept stressing out about not getting the honeymoon scheduled for the next closest days. The only times the honeymoon could be rescheduled to was three months away.
Bruce kept being stubborn and got out of bed multiple times. Alfred tried to calm Selina and keep Bruce in bed to recover. Both Selina and Bruce were hot headed and stubborn so this wasn't an easy task. Selina had finally gotten the honeymoon rescheduled for the next week. Alfred had found some medicine for Bruce.
The medicine took away the pain and put him to sleep. Alfred couldn't have been any happier with both Selina and Bruce quieted. After the incident with the Joker the night before Alfred was afraid of losing the last person he cared about. He was so relieved when Bruce arrived home still hanging on.
Selina was laying in the bed with Bruce while he slept to make sure he was okay. She loved him so much. And although they were now a married couple, she knew Bruce would never change. She knew that he would make a comeback. She knew that he would always be, The Batman.
