My Dearest Batman

Chapter 6: Morning

The next morning, Selina woke up laying on Bruce's chest next to the lit fire place. She wondered who had lit it. She looked up at Bruce and he began to wake up. When he finally pried his eyes open she began kissing him all over. She stopped after a few minutes and said,"Good morning handsome!" She ran her fingers through his hair as she sat up. He replied and said,"Good morning gorgeous." He was less enthusiastic but it was because he had just woke up. He wiped his eyes and then he was fully awake.

Selina layed her head on his chest again. He said,"You must really like laying there." She said quietly,"Yeah. It's soothing. Every time I lay my head down right there I hear your heart beat. I guess it's relaxing but it helped me sleep." He smiled and then Alfred walked in with a tray in his hands. "Good morning Master Bruce. Your breakfast is served." Alfred said as he put the tray down on the coffee table.

"Its your favorite!" He continued,"Waffles with warm syrup, bacon, sausage, cheese eggs and buttered biscuit." Alfred continued on,"I even made some for your unexpected guest." He faked a smile and turned to Selina. Bruce said,"Thank you Alfred!" Then Alfred walked out of the office closing the door. They noticed that there was a few little packets in the corner of the tray. Both Bruce and Selina picked one up and read the package.

Alfred had left condoms on tray with a small note that said "Protect yourself Master Bruce. She's a vigilante. It may get dangerous. ;)" Bruce and Selina had read the note together. After they had read it they both looked at each other blushing. Then Selina thought of something and said,"Were you even wearing one of those last night?" Bruce was confused as to what she was talking about. She rephrased her question,"Were you even wearing a condom last night?"

Bruce said,"Oh that's what you were talking about." She began to look worried because he was avoiding her question. "Bruce!" She said,"Why didn't you use one?! You could have gotten me pregnant! If I'm pregnant I'm going to slap you! You know I don't want this know!" He tried to reassure her that he didn't get her pregnant. She finally calmed down and they ate their breakfast. Although they had ended the conversation Selina would still give Bruce an angry glare almost as if she was reminding him of what he could have done.
