Chapter 3: No More Secrets

They saw each other's faces and they both had a surprised but curious expression. "Bruce?!" She said with her mouth wide open in aw. "Selina?!" He said as he moved closer. Then he continued,"You abandoned me!" He said raising his voice. "You were the only person that understood the situation, you were the only one who lived through that dark moment with me. Then you left. You left me there in a dark alley alone. Why did you do this to me?"

Taking the words to heart she said,"I might have understood your situation but you never understood mine. And you still don't." She raised her voice with tears in her eyes and continued,"I may have lived through that moment with you but you didn't live through mine. And another thing you don't understand is how much I actually care about.." She paused and cut herself off. She began to walk away from him once more.

He grabbed her by the arm again,"I know you weren't going to say you cared about me. You left me. If you ever cared you would have stayed with me, you wouldn't have left me alone. And the only reason why I don't understand you is because you never gave me a chance." She could feel the tears begin to trickle down her cheek as she said,"I know I never gave you a chance. I know I left you all alone. And you don't know how much I have thought about that and how much I have regretted that. I just couldn't bare being hurt by someone I cared about again. I couldn't take the risk of you hurting me. I was a child Bruce. I didn't understand what I had done."

More tears rolled down her face like a river as she continued,"I didn't know I had hurt you. I was just... I was scared of love." And with that she jumped off the building and he yelled to her,"Catwoman!!" His yell became a whisper,"Selina?"
