Sorry it's a bit of a shorter chapter this time - I've been busy!

"How's Lily doing?" Scorpius asked.

Rose sighed. "Ginny said she hasn't spoken in days,"

"And how are you doing?"

Nobody had asked Rose how she felt yet. Everyone had focused on Lily and had seemed to have completely overlooked the fact that Rose had been friends with Charlie for five years. In that moment, she felt like she didn't have to pretend anymore.

"Not well," she said, her voice catching in her throat as she wiped her eyes with her sleeve. Scorpius cradled her head with his hand and pulled her to him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked, kissing the top of her head.

"No," she said into his jumper, "let's talk about something else."

"Okay, how about wedding venues?" he asked. Rose groaned. "It's got to be done, Rosie,"

"I know, I know," she replied before sitting down on the sofa, "I just hate all the planning, it's too complicated,"

"Okay, how about this?" Scorpius began, sitting next to her and taking her hands in his, "I'll ask you a question, you say the first thing that comes to your mind,"

She smiled reluctantly at him and nodded.

"Right, when do you want to get married?" he asked.

"October,"

"Flowers?"

"Snapdragons,"

"Colour scheme?"

"Navy,"

"Time?"

"Three,"

"Venue?"

"Hogwarts,"

"Hogwarts? You want to get married at school?" he asked.

"Um, well, I don't know. You said venue and the first place I thought of was Hogwarts," she replied, "we don't have to. I mean, it isn't set in stone."

"No, I-I like it. I'm sure Neville could sort something out. So that settles it, we'll get married at three o'clock one day in October. We'll be clad in navy blue, with snapdragons for flowers and it'll be at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry," he confirmed.

Rose smiled broadly, having temporarily forgotten all of her troubles.

It was five o'clock in the afternoon and it was dark; winter was still lingering on. Rose and Scorpius were sitting on the sofa in their flat. She was scribbling away at her next article for The Daily Prophet whilst he was reading a book on healing potions - brushing up on a little literature in the hope that he could install some new treatments in St Mungo's and earn the big promotion coming up.

Out of nowhere, there was a tap on the window. Rose looked up to see a barn own perching on the window sill.

"Oh, bloody bird! What will the neighbours think if they see that?!" she said as she sprung up from her seat to get the letter attached to its leg.

"Rosie, I don't think they'll notice an owl at night time once in a while, they're muggles," Scorpius replied, without even looking up from his book.

"It's from Neville," she said before reading it quickly and passing it to Scorpius.

I must say, Rose, I do find it a little odd that you might want to get married here! Then again, I suppose it's rather fitting. It should be fine. Obviously, since you want it to be in October, there'll be students at school so I'll have to try and find a way of keeping your wedding private. Otherwise, they'll all want to get a glimpse of the Golden Trio - some of the professors included! We might have to use protecting charms around the area you're thinking of.

Tell me exactly what date and where you want it as soon as possible and I'll sort it all out.

Neville

"Great, so where exactly do we want it? And when?"

"How about the sixteenth - that's a Saturday, right?" she asked. Scorpius nodded. "As for where, I'm not sure."

"When you think of Hogwarts, and us, where do you think of?" he asked her, clearly nudging her towards the only correct answer. She thought for a moment.

"The lake," she answered and he smiled.

There was a big tree next to the lake that Rose, Albus and Scorpius had claimed as theirs in their first year. Whenever they spoke about it in the company of their parents, her uncle Harry would always say that it was theirs first - particularly because of the summer he spent with Ginny in their sixth year. Then, Hermione would always chip in that it was technically the Marauders' tree before that. In fact, if you looked carefully enough, you could still just about see "JP + LE" scratched into the trunk.

"Won't it be cold though?" she asked.

"Nah, it'll be fine, wear a coat," he joked.

Rose wrote out a reply letter stating when and where on the Hogwarts grounds they wanted to be and sent it off to Neville.

"So that just leaves everything else. Like invites, flowers, clothes, food, music and the honeymoon,"

"Easy. Patronus, garden centre, Madam Malkin's, House Elves, Weird Sisters and I told you, I'm sorting the honeymoon," he replied.  He made it sound so simple. This wedding planning malarkey wasn't so tricky after all. Rose carried on writing her article about the recent security improvements made at Gringotts, making sure to mention her Uncle Bill's role in the matter.
