The look on Zack's face when my brother said this was amazing. I could hardly keep my laughter in. Amy just looked confused. She tugged at my pants to get my attention.

"Who is he, Ashley?" She asked. I picked her up and turned towards my brother. "This is Jake. my older brother." I said and realization dawned on her face.

Zack was still standing there with his mouth open. I snapped my fingers and he looked at me. "So this is not some ex-boyfriend of yours?" He asked suspiciously and I shook my head.

Jake smirked. "You can't stop me from annoying my sister's mate now can you?" He asked, sticking out a hand for Zack to shake.

Zack took it as Jake introduced himself. "I'm Jake Williams. Nice to finally meet you." Zack had an eyebrow raised. "Aren't you Carter's Beta?" He asked and Jake's smile dropped.

"I was. He got new one because Ashley ran off. I can't say I mind at all." I snapped my gaze to my brother. "What? Who's the new Beta, then?''

"Jace Diamond. That guy is gonna ruin the pack." He shook his head when that brought me back to reality. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" I demanded.

He looked like a trapped rat. He was avoiding my gaze and looking everywhere else. "It was a split second decision. I saw Carter coming with a couple of guard wolves towards the house and I booked it out of there."

"Well, you are my mate's brother and saved her life, your welcome to stay here." Zack said suddenly and I grinned at him. He smiled back.

"Wait, what happened to Sandy and Kenneth and the other one?" I asked. "You know those guys?" Zack asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah. There were my best friends along with Chase." I said, scratching the back of my neck. "The other one was Theo. Chase knows you're here?" Jake asked and I nodded.

I quickly changed the subject when I saw Zack eyes go black at Chase's name. "Where are they?" "In the cellars. I'm gonna see how much Carter knows. Also, it means you're not going anywhere tomorrow." I was about to protest but Zack raised him hand.

"If he knows you're here tomorrow, he will have guys in the mall, in case I send you. You're staying with me tomorrow. I'm not gonna risk losing you."

He turned on his heel and walked off with Amy. I glared at his retreating back. "I like him already. Shall we go?" Jake said, smiling before grabbing my hand and walking towards the pack house.

We walked in and we were immediately greeted by Sam, Hannah and the twins. Their jaws dropped when I walked in with Jake. They glanced fearfully at Zack who was lounging on the couch with a bored expression.

"Okay, I'm confused." Sam said, getting to her feet. "Why are you with some other guy but Zack is just sitting there?"

I smiled at her. "Because this is my brother, Jake." They were staring at him in shock. He's hot. Hannah whispered through the link and I made the action of throwing up behind his back.

"You have a brother?" Hunter asked walking into the room with Seth and taking seats next to their mates.

"More or less." I said, taking a seat next to Zack, who wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me onto his lap.

"I think my eyes are gonna burn." Jake said, covering his eyes. I rolled my eyes and leaned back against Zack's chest.

Jake took a seat next to the twins and they were eyeing him like he was a god. "Are you the one who taught Ashley everything she knows?" They asked and he nodded.
