Epilogue II

ASHLEY

I walked out of the room, Zack trailing behind me, grumbling. "Do we have to go down?" He asked. "Yes, we spent the entire morning in our room, Zack." I rolled my eyes.

"But it was worth it." He smirked, wrapping an arm around my waist. My cheeks heated up and I elbowed him in the stomach.

He let out a "Oof!" as we turned around the corner. Pack members bowed their heads in respect every time they saw me.

After 2 years, I was finally getting used to being a Luna. I passed them and walked into the kitchen where everybody was.

"Finally. I thought the noise would never stop." Jake joked but shot a glare at Zack when he entered behind me.

"I still don't know when I'm going to die." Zack whispered to me, turning pale under Jake's stare. "Don't worry, It's coming soon." Jake smirked.

I shook my head as Hannah walked in with her daughter on her hip. We found out she was pregnant a little after Jake and Hope met.

"Hey, Han. Hey Sierra!" I smiled at the blonde girl who was giggling. "What happened?" I asked when I saw the amusement on Hannah's face.

"Seth fell down trying to put Sierra's pink flag back on her castle. He landed on some kid's Lego." She smirked as Seth came wincing inside.

"How did hell feel like?" Hunter asked as I grabbed a sandwich from Zack's hands. "Like tiny knifes poking my backside." He winced when Zack save him a sympathetic pat on the back.

"Daddy went boom!" Sierra giggled. Seth smiled at his daughter. "Daddy's very clumsy, dear." Hannah laughed.

Just as I finished eating the sandwich, I felt my stomach churn. I ran out of the kitchen, my hand over my mouth.

I burst into my bathroom and couldn't stop the bile. I let it out just as I felt someone pull my hair away from my face.

"Lee, are you okay?" Zack's voice floated through the haze in my mind. My head was pounding. I shakily got to my feet, wiping my mouth.

I leaned over the sink and rinsed my mouth washing out the bad taste the puke left behind. "I have no idea what just happened." I whispered.

Lee, I think we might be...

My eyes widened as I yelled through the link. Lucy!

I heard, honey. I'm on my way up.

"Lee, do you need something?" Zack asked, his hands wrapping around my waist. I was thankful for the support, my knees almost giving out.

"Zack, out." Lucy stood at the door with Sam and Hannah. "But mom-"

"No buts, mister. Out." She pushed him out of the room, locking the door. Sam pulled a box out of her pocket and handed it to me.

My stomach dropped. "I'm scared." I whispered, holding the box in my hand. "We'll give you some privacy." They walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind them.

I sat down on the bed, shock running through my body. Sam, Hannah and Lucy all had smiles on their faces.

"Ashley, it's positive. Its absolutely positive." Lucy squealed. My mind was busy contemplating something else.

How was Zack going to react? I ran my hand through my hair. "Honey, you're over thinking this." Lucy cooed.
