I Like It

Rose was watching Chan sleep. Phase one of her plan was complete, and now she was waiting for the Idols to wake up. She saw this as an opportunity to admire her first and eldest soulmate.

Chan hummed as his eyes fluttered open, noticing Rose's gaze on him.

"Hmm. What you doing?"

She reached out and gently brushed the tips of her fingers down the side of his face.

"Admiring my handsome soulmate."

Her soulmate blinked up at her. Rose's grin widened as she noticed his cheeks and ears turn red.

Leaning in, she pressed her lips against his.

"Breakfast is ready when you are."

In the kitchen was a spread bigger than the breakfasts Rose usually prepared. She had gotten up early especially to make sure she beat any other well meaning soulmates to cooking.

Rose ran into Changbin on her way back to the kitchen. The rapper was sniffing. The smell of food having woken him.

"Morning, Binnie."

"Good morning, Rosie-Noona!"

Rose ran her fingers through Changbin's hair, taming the bedhead slightly.

"You look especially cute this morning."

She gave him a peck on the lips before heading to pick up her bag.

Changbin stood there dazed for a moment, blinking as he processed her words. Then he snapped out of it and held his hands up on either side of his face, making a 'V' shape.

"Really? Noona thinks I'm cute."

Rose smiled.

"Always."

The sound of Changbin's delight followed her as she went next door to the other apartment. Earlier, she had taken half of the breakfast over. Now she found Minho and Jeongin eating. Once she was close enough, Minho pulled her in close.

"Thank you for breakfast."

Rose grinned.

"You're welcome."

Minho's eyes narrowed ever so slightly.

"How early did you get up?"

She stroked his hair.

"Earlier than you."

Minho smacked her behind, making her gasp. She gave his hair a tug in response. The dancer grinned. Rose raised an eyebrow as she stared down at him. This wasn't over.

"Noona?"

Felix walked into the room, looking still half asleep. Rose escaped from Minho's grasp and walked over to him.

"Morning, baby. I've got to get to work. See you all later."

She left after giving Felix his - now routine - morning kiss.

As Rose made her rounds, she first came across Hyunjin. He was in a practice room working on his singing. The whole group was doing consistent vocal training to make sure their voices were prepared for their tour. Her soulmate stood up and gave her a hug.

"Breakfast was delicious, Noona. Thank you."

"You're welcome, Jinnie. I've got to keep my boys healthy and strong, right?"

Hyunjin stared at her. It surprised him how much he liked her calling them 'her boys'.

"I - er - yes."
