Jisung might not have picked up on the underlying message the soul-doctor gave Rose, but Seungmin had. He was practically kicking himself for not considering it before. First Chan, then Changbin and Hyunjin, and now Minho. It was logical to consider that the rest of Stray Kids could become Rose's soulmates too.

However, when he spoke to Rose afterwards, he was even more surprised to learn that this wasn't news to her. She had already considered the possibility of all eight members of Stray Kids being her soulmates. Of Seungmin being her soulmate.

The singer wasn't sure how he felt about it. He knew that out of all of Stray Kids, he was the least close to Rose. Unlike the others, Seungmin didn't spend a lot of time with her, especially alone. Usually, it was only when they spent time together as a whole group. At least he didn't feel like her little brother.

The singer couldn't deny that while listening to Hyunjin admit his feelings for Rose, he had started to see her in a different light. Although he never fantasised about her, he understood why someone would, as Hyunjin was very descriptive when explaining what he loved about Rose.

After the way Rose reacted to him after the meeting with the soul-doctor, Seungmin decided he wasn't going to confront her. However, he was going to test what kind of relationship would work for them.

As such, it was always at the back of his mind as he went about his schedule as normal. Nothing much changed at first, apart from the fact that he watched Rose more often. Which brought him to Felix. The whole group had been tense since Felix had shouted at Rose. Chan had been in a particularly bad mood, which made them all wary of doing anything to set their leader off.

It was a Sunday, and they all had the day off. Seungmin and Felix were in their apartment, the singer watching as the Australian made brownies.

"Have you apologised to her yet?"

Felix's arm froze for a moment before continuing to mix the batter. He didn't look up as he answered Seungmin's question.

"No."

"Why?"

The older sighed and let go of the spoon. He looked up at Seungmin with a pained expression.

"Because she'll want to know why, and I'm not ready to tell her."

"Then tell her that."

Felix laughed, but it sounded hollow as if it wasn't due to happiness.

"You make it sound so simple."

"Because it is."

Felix didn't respond, and Seungmin waited until the baker had poured his mixture into the tin and placed it in the oven before speaking again.

"Go over there now. The others are out. She's alone. Apologise and make up so that you can go back to being all happy and giggly together."

Seungmin left Felix to think, and by the time his brownies were ready, he had decided to follow his younger roommate's advice. So after cutting up some brownies and placing a few on the plate, he ventured across to the apartment next door.

His heart pounded as he waited for the door to open. As soon as Felix saw her, his eyes welled up with tears that he barely stopped from falling.

"I'm sorry!"

Felix's eyes widened. He hadn't meant to blurt it out like that before he'd even gone inside. But when Rose smiled at him in response, he felt like he could breathe again.

"Come in."

Once he had taken his shoes off and put down the plate of brownies, he turned to see Rose figerting and looking unusually shy.
