CEREMONY

Minho had barely made it through the doorway of the dance studio when Felix appeared in front of him. The younger Idol took his arm and dragged him to an empty part of the room.

"You just missed Rose-Noona."

"And?"

"Hyung! She wanted to know about the brownies that magically appeared on her desk. She recognised my recipe!"

"Huh."

"Huh? Really? Hyung, why didn't Noona know the brownies were from you?"

"Because I didn't leave a note."

Felix stared at Minho in disbelief.

"You didn't... Why?"

As Minho thought about how to respond, he realised that he didn't know how to. He had a plan - sort of - to woo Rose by courting her, giving her gifts, and turning the beginning of their relationship into a happy experience. As to why he hadn't signed his name to his gifts so far, he thought it was exciting to be mysterious. But now, as Felix asked him, he was beginning to think it was just silly. He wasn't going to admit that, though.

"I forgot."

"Right? So, does this mean you and Noona...?"

Minho stared at him with such an expression that Felix laughed nervously and walked away. It wasn't Felix's business (yet) what Minho and Rose were to each other, but it was someone else's. Or rather three someones.

He waited until they went home that evening. First, Minho collected something from his room before heading to the apartment next door. Rose answered the door, pleasantly surprised when she saw who it was. 

"Minho!"

If he hadn't been there with a clear purpose, he may have been dazed by her beautiful smile and forgotten why he was there. 

"I'm here to talk to Chan."

"Oh. He's in his room."

Rose held the door open so Minho could walk past, and he headed straight for Chan's room. He had noticed the disappointment in Rose's voice, but he had a plan to stick to. Minho knocked on the leader's door before poking his head around.

"Hyung? Can we talk?"

Chan put his phone down on his bedside table.

"Of course. What's up?"

"Changbin and Hyunjin should hear this, too."

Chan cocked his head to one side, his brows furrowed for a moment before his eyes widened.

"Oh? Oh! Sure, let me get them."

Chan hopped off the bed and left the room, returning a minute later with the other two of Rose's soulmates.

"Hyung! Stop pushing me."

Hyunjin whined as Chan had his hands on his back and was pushing him into the room. Changbin and Hyunjin looked surprised to find Minho there. Apparently, the leader hadn't given any explanation for the impromptu meeting in Chan's room. Once they were far enough inside, Chan closed the door before placing a hand on each of the others' shoulders as he beamed at Minho.

"I would like to inform you all of my intentions to court Rose."

The room was silent. Chan looked as though he was going to clap, but managed to rein himself in. Hyunjin was nodding his head as if processing what exactly this meant.

Changbin crossed his arms over his chest.

"I see, and what are your intentions with Rosie-Noona?"

Hyunjin glanced at Changbin with a frown.
