Chapter 2: Someone's got a date! 

Summer's POV

"Jjay, is Trey here yet?" I yelled down the hall, as I rushed around trying to get ready. Currently standing in a towel, I heard the bell ring. "Jjay! Tell him I'll be down in a  sec!" I yelled as I quickly threw on my denim converse.

Running down to the kitchen I saw Autumn, my twin sister and Trey having breakfast. I know what your thinking: Autumn and Summer, are your parents Hippies? Well the quick answer to that is yes, they are. Well my dad used to be anyway... my mum passed away when we were really young so we never really got to know much about her; Jjay (A.K.A Dad) sort of gets all nervous and jerky at the mention of her name... Serena.  But he's very 'green' and if that doesn't explain much, you should see our house. It's fully recyclable, from the walls to the floor. I scoffed down a piece of toast and washed it down with Autumn's O.J.

"Hey Trey, sup A" I exclaimed happily, taking  a seat between them. "Morning!" Autumn cheered, I glanced at my non-identical twin and admired her features. She was clearly beautiful, inside and out. I caught sight of the radiant purple streak in her hair and smiled. That girl would make everything purple if she had her way.

"Hey babe," Trey said cassualy, throwing an arm around my waist. "Umm...did you just call me babe?" I asked putting my palm to his forehead and giggling. "Umm...Reflexes?" He said, making it sound like more of a question, then looking sheepishly down at his Weatbix.

I heard Autumn holding in her laughter, glared at her having the urge to push her off her chair. "Are you feeling alright?" I asked Trey, trying not to give my smile away. "Why wouldn't I be" He stated casually as though nothing had happened.

School was a blur half the day, mainly because of the absence of Chase. I sighed, he can't just skip his second day at a new school... "Summer!!" squealed Autumn, who was coming up to me on our way to P.E class. I gave her a questioning look as though saying that I was listening. "Guess who asked me out!" she sceamed in my ear, hence making me go deaf for mere seconds.

Regaining from my hearing disability, I glared at Autumn. "Care to scream any louder?" I asked herm my words practically swiming in sarcasm. "Summer! I got asked out by Rhys!" Autumn screamed again, obviously not noticing my last remark.

Regaining from being hearing impaired for the second time, I looked at Autumn surprised. "Autumn, good for you, be safe, use protection, if he hurts you I wont even hesitate to kill him." I grinned sweetly. "Were going to the movies Friday night!" she squealed and I, now the expert of Autumn's loud excitement, happily clapped my hands over my ears before any serious damage was done. I glanced at Autumn and smiled at her; she would have any guy in this school falling at her feet if she wanted to. I was happy that at least one guy had the guts to talk to her because she truly deserved a happily ever after.

Suddenly Trey appeared by my side, "Who are you going to the movies with?!?!" he snapped at me. "Whoa, whoa!" I said holding my hands up in the air for the dramatic effect, "It's Autumn going to the movies not me!" I clarified.

"Um, yeah." Autumn said quickly, obviously trying to relax the atmosphere. "Rhys just asked me to actually...were going on Fri-"  "Wait," Trey cut her off rudely, as you can probably tell, Trey isn't the most considerate person..."Rhys Spears asked you?" 

In response Autumn nodded shyly. "Huh, I never knew he even knew you.." Trey trails off, deep in thought. Autumn uses this opportunity to turn to me, "Ohmygosh! I'm so nervous," she gushed, then stopped abruptly sucking in breath.

"Autumn..." I began. 

"What am I going to wear!" she yelled suddenly. Jumping back, I almost fell. Surprised by her sudden outburst. "Eww," Trey said from behind me, "Enough of this talk about clothes..." he gagged with fake disgust, "It's terrible! You girls...you'll be the end of me! My brain will turn into mush!" He yelled emphasising the word 'mush'

I laughed uncontrolably at his statement and the fact that he used wild hand gestures to top it off, while Autumn just rolled her eyes and walked swiftly into the girls bathrooms. I mimicked his stupid hand gestures as I followed Autumn, earning a glare from Trey. Best change now before the P.E rush!

"Ms.Jones I would appreciate it if you could join us in the game instead of dissapearing into lalaland every 2 seconds!" shouted Ms.Sanched. Snapping out of my haze I looked back to the game. Only to see a flying soccer ball heading my way.

"Heads!" someone yelled. I ducked down with my hand flying onto my head, shielding it, while ofcourse screaming my head off. I waited until it was safe to peek, only to face a grinning Ms.Sanchez. "Now that Ms. Jones is why you pay attention in P.E." she smirked.

"Summ, you could've got killed out there!" cried Autumn from the opposite side of the field. Flashing her an awkward thumbs up, I joined the game; but couldn't help thinking why Chase wasn't here to day. Focusing on the game I managed to get through P.E alive. Swiftly dogging all round objects., might I add.

"Summer," Trey whispered and I whirled around to face him. "Hey T!" I chirped. "You know how Autumn's going out with Rhys right?" He asked me and I started to panic, , noticing that he had lowered his voice to a serious tone."I was thinking that we should go movie spying on them during the movie." he stated

"Trey you idiot, you didn't have to scare the crap out of me like that! I though Rhys was some sort of rapist on the loose!" I yelled, but soon broke into fits of laughter. "Summer, I thought we could go and keep an eye on them, you know in case Rhys tries anything.." Trey said grinning like mad... what was up with his mood today? Eh, probably  his time of the month. again. "I don't know, I trust Autumn and I doubt Rhys would, try anything. I said grinning as I put air quotes around the words 'try anything'.

Trey looked distraught for a second before his signature smirk covered his features, "Well, I just figures taht you'd want your sister to be safe and happy...and I was just concerned for her, since you're obviously not..." He looks up innocently through his thick, dark eyelashes

I scoffed, "Yeah, alright Mr. Smartypants." After a minute of deliberation I sighed. "Fine, I'll go 'movie spying' with you!" Trey grinned like a Cheshire Cat and mumble something under his breath, but all I could catch were the words 'Plus', 'movies, and 'you'. Shrugging it off, I laughed internally at his concept of 'Movie Spying' and tried to actually think of what were actually going to do. 

The things I do for that boy.
