"That was pretty amazing." You admitted, sitting back on Joe's bed, holding the Wii U game pad in your hands still, you had helped Joe film a video for his gaming channel but had put a slight Alli Speed / Drunk gaming twist on it that whoever came in last between the pair of you racing online had to take a shot of Vodka.

"It was great, thanks for filming with me." Joe smiled over at you while he took his camera off its Tripod that had been recording the both of you, his room was a bit messy as you'd taken the TV from the living room downstairs to his room with the Wii U.

His smile made your heart flutter, it had made your heart flutter since you were both young teenagers back in your home town. You hadn't intended on falling for one of your best friends, in fact you didn't realise it was happening until one day... BAM!

"Oh, no problem Joe." You assured feeling the warmth from the alcohol in your system. "It was really fun."

"You're still a sore loser you know, (Y/N)." Joe picked up the near empty bottle of Vodka from the floor, most of which was because of you. "And I'm shit at Mario Kart." He added and you couldn't help but shoot him a glare.

"Hey, I don't play video games and it wasn't like you were nice enough to let me have a few practise laps." You pointed at him. "So don't call me a sore loser." You pouted and crossed your arms which made him laugh again, shaking his head.

"Don't you laugh at me Joe Sugg." You muttered.

"I don't know what I'd do without you sometimes (Y/First N & Last N)." He sat down beside you on his bed, taking the game pad you were still holding, looking over your flushed face with his blue eyes.

"I often think the same time about you." You admitted, you might have felt good, but you weren't slurring drunk, you knew exactly what you were doing, Joe didn't say anything, he just kept looking over you.

You hesitated, before parting your lips again and speaking; "I love you, Joe." You finally let it out. "I love you, too." Joe laughed at you and you didn't take to kindly to his laughing and pulled a semi offended face, "you're one of my best mates, of course I love you." He added and your heart sunk.

"No, Joe – I mean ... And this isn't the alcohol talking, trust me. It isn't. It's something I've wanted to tell you for ages but kept it buried down because I didn't want it to wreck our friendship. But I love you – like... Actually love you, I have since we were thirteen." You whispered, your (colour) eyes avoided his now, your fingers playing with themselves nervously.

"Oh, (Y/N)." Joe whispered now, "I... Oh god." He trailed off. "Look." He placed his hand on your knee and you sighed. "I love you, but ... Not like that, like a best friend – like a little sister." Joe tried to explain. "I'm sorry, I had no idea you even liked me..." An uncomfortable but sympathetic tone his words were as he spoke them.

"I get it." You said, you could feel your eyes glazing over, you kept moving them back and forth slowly to keep any tears from falling, you wanted to slap yourself for saying anything, you went to get up and Joe caught your hands.

"I'm sorry." Joe squeezed your hand apologetically.

"Don't apologise for not having mutual feelings, Joe." You took your hand from his, "I should go." You nodded, picking up your bag. "I thought you were staying over?" Joe questioned.

"I don't think either one of us would really like that. I'm just going to request an Uber." You put your bag over your shoulder. "We'll talk... Later." You stepped into your shoes.

"(Y/N) ... You've been drinking, you shouldn't go anywhere." Joe watched you. "No I'm fine, honestly." You took out your phone. "See yah, Joe." You left his room, took the steps two at a time and left the flat, getting outside you sat down on the steps, rubbing your forehead.

"Should've kept my mouth shut." You muttered as you ordered your Uber which read ten minutes away. "Sorry." You added hearing steps getting closer and stopping, figuring you were keeping them from taking the steps up to the flats.

"(Y/N)? They asked and you looked up. "Oh, Hi Casp." You didn't expect him of all people to be stood in front of you holding a pizza box.

"Are you alright?" He asked you and you nodded. "Oh yeah, nothing to worry about." You sniffed and slide aside a bit more for him to get by, but instead he sat down beside you. "Lemme guess." He cleared his throat. "A rejected, I love you?" He looked you over slowly, you nodded now figuring there was no point in lying about the situation.

"I know the feeling." Caspar admitted, opening the box. "Slice?" He offered you now and you shrugged, "thanks." You picked up a piece...
