Calum have been driving for 20 minutes since we left the establishment. I sat next to the passenger seat and Vera, Enzo and the girl sat at the back. None of us say a word except Aimee--the girl that we had found crying in the gun store. The girl can't stop babbling about how she's afraid and whatnot.

"I am deeply terrified. And... And I'm really glad you agreed that I can tag along with you guys. I have nothing now, they.. they killed my father when they had find us then they took me with them..." She started to sob again.

"Hey, you're okay now. I'm so sorry about your father, what happened to him was sad. Everything that is happening now is sad so there is no point in pondering over it. We need to move on because if we don't we'll die just like them and their sacrifice to keep you alive would be for nothing." Enzo looked at Vera that's beside him. Vera nodded sadly. Enzo looked sad too as if both of them remembered something. Enzo turned back to Aimee and said. "You'll be perfectly fine with us Aimee. I'm sure of it. You've got three attractive guys and a not-so-attractive girl protecting you." Then he wink.

Aimee laughed and said. "Yeah. Okay. But really you shouldn't bully your sister."

"She's fine with it." Enzo replied.

"Enough with that. Calum stop the vehicle. We need to find somewhere to sleep now. The vehicle is too tight for us." Vera said. When she said that, it dawned on me that its getting dark. Another day has passed. I'm alive and still a human. I thought as Calum parked the vehicle in a grassy area, hiding the vehicle from plain sight.

We emerged from the vehicle and Enzo started cutting off some of the grass so we could move away to find shelter for the night.

"We're sleeping on the forest?" Aimee asked.

"It safer than sleeping in a establishment." Vera replied.

"What if wild animals will eat us?" Aimee said, clearly afraid.

"There's no wild animals in there Aimee. We are not in Amazon jungle." Calum said, irritated.

"Are you sure?" Aimee insists.

"Seriously woman! Just shut up for once." Calum said. Aimee didn't reply and just followed us heading to the forest. Enzo turned to Calum and gave him a thumbs up. Here I thought I was the only one annoyed in her babbling, Enzo is just too kind to cut her off.

"We will stopped here." Vera said while surveying the area. It is a wide clearing surrounded by tall trees. "Get some rest. I'll take the first watch." She said then immediately proceed to seat beside a tree. Enzo and Calum positioned themselves to lay down on the grass. Aimee looked at them then she immediately lay down too.

"Good night guys." Aimee said before closing her eyes.

I lay on the grass too facing the sky. I sighed and raised my hand to connect the stars with my hand drawing a heart. I smiled. At night when you look at the sky and see the stars and the moon still there shining brightly, it seems like nothing has changed in the past four years, that the world is still the same. Yet even when the view from above still looks the same, everything is already different. The night is more quiet than usual. The whole world, night and day, is dead. Silence is all the thing you would hear and I didn't know until the world turned like this that silence is the most defeaning sound ever.

Its funny to think that all I've ever cared about four years ago are all gone. My career, our fans, our staff, my parents.... I can never see them once again anymore, I'm not even sure now if someone can be happy in this world. It seems impossible to be happy. Even wishing for a normal life would be too much now. It just sucks.

I sat up and see that the three are already sleeping. I looked over at Vera who is looking at the sky and I stood up to approach her.

"Hi." I said while I sat cautiously a meter away beside her

"Aren't you going to sleep?" She asked me, still looking at the sky

"I want to, but I can't."

She looked at me quickly then turned to look above again. "That's normal."

"Thank you for saving Calum back there." I told her.

"It's nothing. He don't deserve to die that way." She said still not looking at me.

I smiled. "What? We deserve to die at what way?"

"Normal way. I would love to see a world where people die because of old age."

"I would like that world too. So much."

She turned to me. I think I see her smiled a little. Or is her eyes smiling? I don't know. All I know is she looked divine on that moment, while the moon's faint light shine at the half of her face. She looked like she's glowing. "We'll try and live in that world someday." She said.

I'm speechless so I just nodded at her, she stared back at me and then slowly turn to look at the sky once again. I also turned at the sky and we quietly sat there while looking at the stars and the moon. No talking or touching involved but for the first time in four years, I feel perfectly comfortable and safe.
