Hakeem. . .
Deniece has been gone for a month. I haven't heard from her. When I go to her house she has her mother tell me she's not there. Why is she avoiding me of all people. I wish I would have never tried being more than friends. I can't live with knowing that she doesn't want to see me. I miss waking up and seeing her in the bed. I miss watching her cook. I missed that one little moment when I got to kiss her lips. I miss DJ.
One month later. . .
I still haven't heard from her and I know that she feels my anger rising. It's now August and she goes back to school at the end of this month. I got to go by her house. I want to know if she's ok. Why the fuck she pulled some shit like this. I grabbed my keys and drove straight to her house. It was a Friday so I knew Derrick and Ms. Veronica, her mother were at work.
I stepped out of my new truck I had just got last week. She was sitting upstairs in her room looking out her window. She saw me and tried to hide. I got to the door and knocked for five minutes straight. I checked the door it was open. I walked straight in and upstairs to her room. I was tired of playing games. I opened her door and she was sitting on her bed waiting.
"So, wassup? You just decide to diss me for two months?" I could feel my anger rising because my cheeks were hot.
"I'm sorry Keem. I needed to come home."
"You were home. Has he tried something else Deniece?"
"No. I barely see him," she lied, "I'm safe here Hakeem. Stop worrying so much."
"Maybe I wouldn't worry so much if you would pick up the phone and call."
"I'm sorry."She whispered hopong I would calm down. I was still mad as fuck but I didn't want to argue. "Come 'ere DJ." She smiled and walked towards me.
"I really am sorry Hakeem." I wrapped my hands around her and she released a sigh. Finally, now I got to work on making her my shawty. "Deniece, we need to talk." My heart was beating a hundrd miles per hour thinking about what's gone happen.
"Ok. Now?"
"Yeah now."
