Camila's POV

I'm currently here in a cabin in this freakish forest with this freakish new girl. She's currently shooting me glares and curious glances every time I look at her. My hands and practically my whole body is still trembling. Those freaking wolves almost killed me if it wasn't for her. What was her name? I do not know. But  I owe her my life. I shuffled my feet to ruin the awkward silence that is surrounding us and cleared my throat.

"umm..hi?" I said awkwardly. I'm probably the most awkward person in the whole universe. And the silence is making it worse. I looked at her to see her glaring at me. I averted my gaze.

"What are you doing here?" She said firmly that I felt my hands started to shake again but I hid it behind me. What am I doing here? I do not even know. I do not know what my pretty little head is thinking.

"um..Just taking a stroll?" I replied, well more like asked. That is so lame. That's the lamest thing I've said yet and the girl probably thought so too because she raised her perfectly shaped eyebrows.

"In this dangerous forest? Seriously? Are you out of your mind? " She said her voice getting louder. I flinched and took a couple of steps backwards. She's right. What am I thinking? I felt my tears started to form in my eyes but I quickly wiped it off.

"Do not tell me you are crying." She said. I did not respond because she told me not to tell her.. She sighed and muttered something under her breath but it was out of my earshot. I heard her footsteps coming towards me and I snapped my eyes towards her.

"C'mon. Do not follow me anymore got it? I'll show you the exit to this forest." and with that, she grabbed my arm and led me outside. When we got here, I was too nervous that I haven't been able to notice this beautiful scenario before me. Trees are everywhere but it gives me a calm feeling. But despite its beauty, I can feel it's danger. I do not even know how. I shook my head and muttered that everything is alright to myself. I saw the girl shot me a curious glance so I stopped what I'm doing and gave her an innocent look. She rolled her eyes.

"What's your name?" I asked as the realization and courage to ask that finally dawned on me. She did not stopped walking and did not bothered turning around to face me. Talking about rude. I narrowed my eyes.

"What makes you think I would tell you?" She retorted, her voice full of amusement but I cannot see her face.  I tried walking on my toes but dang, that just made me noticed how tall this girl was, compared to me. Well, I'm basically a midget compared to almost everybody but she is still tall.

"Because I actually think you are a good person to answer that simple question" I asked, still trying to see her reaction. I mentally groaned in frustration and gave up. My toes are getting tired by tip toeing.

She muttered what seemed like curses and sighed. "Sapphire. My name is Sapphire." She said, barely audible. And me, being the one with a not- so- great- hearing replied.

"What?"

"I said Sapphire! Are you deaf????" She snapped and glared at me. I backed down. Woah, is she on her period right now? She's definitely acting like one.

I stayed silent. We trudged the muddy path of the forest with the thick silence that is still surrounding us for what seemed like hours. The quiet chirping of birds , the leaves crunching beneath our feet are the only thing that seemed to make some noise. Finally, we reached a clearing and I saw a house. It was a decent one. Pretty neat actually if you ask me, not too grand. She marched up to that house and I followed. I cast a glance towards what I assumed was her house. I was expecting a complete lonely house but instead, 2 pair of heads came barreling towards the front door, yelling Sapphire's name. It was the nerdy girl and the boy we encountered in school awhile ago. They stopped once they saw me and raised a questioning eyebrow towards Sapphire which she rolled her eyes at.
