EPILOGUE

  *2 years later*

It was rather a hot day with the sunshine prickling at the back of the neck of five girls sitting at the ground where grasses grew.

"It's been 2 years" A green-eyed with a tint of blue said quietly. It was Lauren Jauregui. She was sitting with her best friends, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Camila Cabello.

The others murmured an agreement quietly. They've been talking about Sapphire's death. Saying they've missed her was quite an understatement.

They are all in their 20's now, quite a mature and fine looking ladies. They continued going to the school which were restored. The Alpha, Clark was still there, resuming his duties although his behavior changed a lot the moment he heard about Sapphire. He improved greatly and he gained fair respect from every wolf in his pack which is quite an amount.

Six silhouettes appeared near Dinah and the others. It was Garnet, Emily, Drei, Mikaela, Conan and Rye. They, too were welcomed in the pack and they highly appreciated it.

Garnet went to Normani and kissed her forehead which earned a couple of aww's from Dinah, Camila, Lauren and Ally. They got together a couple of months ago after several efforts of romantic dates from Garnet, Normani accepted the mate bond.

They gathered around the grass and a comfortable silence enveloped them. Mikaela leaned on Drei's chest as he put a protective and comforting arm around her shoulders. They are another set of couples. They got together earlier than Garnet and Normani. Apparently, Drei was Mikaela's beloved and a vampire's bond is harder to ignore than a wolf's bond. Drei loves her already anyway. Conan and Emily however are still on the progress.

They do this every year, just to remember Sapphire's heroic life. They look up to her very much and is still affected and saddened by what happened. Rye especially.

He cried silently for the first few nights of Sapphire's death. The full blow of what happened came rushing in. But he stopped. He knew Sapphire wouldn't want that.

Rye rubbed his mark on his shoulder absentmindedly. He moved on but his feelings for her remained.

"She is amazing isn't she?" Rye said quietly, staring at a distance. The others looked quite surprised at him. He can't blame them. He never talked about her ever since. The others knew why. The pain is unbearable.

"Yeah she is." Conan replied. The others nodded. They never lost hope and never planned on giving up on waiting. Sapphire said her soul would come back. But when?

As they sat there, a few minutes later something happened. Rye quickly straightened up. At first it was just a tingling sensation. Everyone felt it. Then a burning sensation started and they looked up, meeting each other's gaze. Their eyes wide.

Their marks are all glowing brightly.
