Lauren was in a cell, a dirty and dark one. They arrived at a secluded castle the minute they transported away from the school yesterday,. She was alone. Lauren was feeling weird,,really weird. She realized the tugging in her stomach had grew stronger now. She doubled over and a groan escaped her lips.

"Be quiet!" A vampire guard shouted outside her cell. She whimpered. She was afraid. Afraid of what is about to happen to her. She doubt that the others will rescue her, surely, Sapphire will not let them go here and risk their lives. They are too precious.

She sat at the center back of the cell and leaned on a wall. She brought her knees up and curled it and rested her chin above it. A sigh escape her lips. Should she give up now? Her strength was diminishing and she does not know what to do. She was warned not to shift and she value her life so much that she decided to obey it. She sighed and closed her eyes.

Sapphire was already inside the vampire castle. She knew her vampire side would be stronger here and it will come in handy. She walked casually in the shadows, since vampires does not like the sun too much, she can easily hide in random shadows. She walked quietly, her eyes deadly alert. No one seemed to notice her and she smirked to herself but then frowned. She lost Lauren's scent, which is the only thing that is giving her the exact direction. She guess the only choice now is to walk around and trust her instincts.

'I'm right here Sapphire.' Tourmaline snorted in her head. Sapphire slapped herself mentally, how can she forget that she has an annoying yet helpful wolf in her head? The stress of the whole situation had started to take a toll in her. With Tourmaline's guide, they continued on their way.

She didn't bother replying. She continued to walk silently, Tourmaline barking directions every now and then. Soon they reached a dark entrance with a few guards in it. Sapphire hid in the shadow a few steps away from the place. She watched from a far, silently counting the amount of vampires in there. There's 4.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She felt her eyes change and when she opened it, the eye contact was gone, having her remove it s while ago. Her eyes are now black, pure black. It has a red ring around the iris and it's getting darker and darker.

'Even though I'm a wolf, I kinda like our vampire form' Tourmaline said in her head. Sapphire agreed silently. Her vampire form is kinda cool. She felt her fangs poke through her lower lip until it fully came out. She looked around to see of there's any vampire in the place besides the guards but there was none. In a count of three, she dashed off towards the guard. She reached the first one, grab his neck and snapped it away from his body. The guard does not even had the chance to scream. Sapphire move silently but fast. She hid in the shadow again. Since she was on her vampire form, her eyesight is much clearer here in the dark. She saw the other guards, still on their position.
What kind of guards are these? They are not even alerted. Sapphire thought.

In one simple motion, she dashed inside and snapped the heads of the remaining guards. Sapphire did not even cringed. She looked at the head that rolled in her. She remained emotionless. She'll do it again if it's necessary. Kill or be killed. She prefer not to be killed so there goes option number one.

Lauren raised her head when she heard the sound of snapping. The guard was nowhere to be seen. Chains of keys rattled and the gate to her cell opened. It was pitch black so she can't really see anything clearly. She scrambled in the corner, away from the figure that entered her cell. She closed her eyes, waiting for the pain the vampire would inflict but it never came. Slowly, she opened her eyes and met a brown one. Sapphire.

Lauren flung herself to Sapphire, hugging her tightly and sobbing quietly. She was losing hope but Sapphire surprised her by rescuing her. Sapphire awkwardly pat her back and whispered that they need to go.
She nodded and let Sapphire lead her. She was wondering how Sapphire got here when they suddenly stopped.

"Oh my gosh! What the hell" Lauren exclaimed as she saw the headless bodies of the vampire guards. Sapphire grimaced, she forgot to hide them.

"Come on. We need to move" Sapphire tugged Lauren and that seemed to snap her out of the shock she had.

Something in the air changed and they both stopped.

'Something is not right'Sapphire thought. When suddenly Lauren doubled over in pain, her hands in her stomach. She dropped on the floor and started shaking. Sapphire did not know what to do so she sat beside her and held her hand. Something sinister was tugging in her stomach but she ignored it. It took a while before Lauren sat up .

"They are here. Mikaela and the others. I can feel the familiar connection with Mikaela" She panted and groaned and then her eyes widened. "He's here. He's here" She whispered, fear and pain in her voice.

"That's right. I am here" A figure of a man emerged from the shadows, a few feet away from them. Sapphire cursed.
But as she squinted more, she clenched her fist.

It was him. The leader of the vampires. The one who murdered her parents right in front of her. Her vision turned red.

"Sapphire no!" She heard a familiar voice from the distance, but it was too late. She lunged.

Kill, kill ,kill. Were the words that are flashing in her mind.
