3rd person's POV

"A Shadow? A SHADOW?! What is that supposed to mean? I'm pretty sure I'm a person and NOT a shadow" Lauren bursted out, throwing her hands in the air as the other girls stared at her sudden outburst.

Sapphire did not do anything but stare at her, dumbfounded. "I did not even know those are possible. It seems like you have two powers, Jauregui. Light and Darkness. You see, Having two is already rare but having those two combined? It was unheard of. Woah. where's your family?"

Lauren looked at her, the other girls looked confused, their eyes darting back and forth at Lauren and Sapphire. "And why are they involved in here? Don't get them into this stupid shit!" Lauren exclaimed, not being able to handle the situation pretty well. Usually, she's the calm one, but right now, the things are just getting into her so much.

Sapphire looked at her seriously. " I know your mother, I met her before. Now, your dad, however is still a mystery to me. I believe he has a lot of things related to this 'stupid shit'" She quoted. The girls all went quiet, not that the other four were noisy before. It was a good 5 minutes when she started explaining the things that they have to do from now on. She explained everything. From their ancestors, to their powers, how they got it, how she did not expect for them to activate at the same time.

"I hate to break this to you girls but it is now or never. You have to drop out of your current school and Learn from the school that I'm gonna show you later from now on. No buts. I'll contact your parents." Sapphire ordered and turned back with her phone in hand, already calling people. Minutes later, The boy, Garnet and the nerdy girl, Emily arrived. They looked at the girls uncomfortably. Emily cleared her throat.

"I'm guessing Sapphire here already explained to you guys about this..things. We're gonna be on that school you're gonna go to though. So I guess it'll be new for us.." Then it was followed by silence, only unbelievable amount of curses going under Lauren's breath at the moment. The others were too overwhelmed to even do anything.

No one spoke until camila anyways.

"WE HAVE POWERS. YAY!"

A chorus of groans were heard.

Normani's POV

We're about to go to that school this girl, Sapphire told us yet , the whole conversations about this supernatural thingy haven't fully sink in yet. I mean how can I possibly believe that? Besides the shoulders anyway. I mean, I haven't seen my powers yet. Though I felt a sensation awhile ago, like a tingling sensation inside , in my heart that is wanting to come out. I wonder what it is like. I haven't really saw any unordinary before.

We went on our way, on our foot by the way and continued walking. No one is speaking with each other. Too pre-occupied about this things. We passed a forest, a very creepy one and I saw Camila tensed. I looked at her strangely. What happened here? I'm almost certain that this had something to do with her being strange all of a sudden. I was about to ask her when Sapphire told us that we are already here, her voice monotone again.

My jaw dropped and a collective gasps from the girls, except the three I'm guessing. The sight before me is something I haven't seen yet. Though on the first look, it is quite..normal. But no, a lot of people are there, and..werewolves? I shuddered. There was a tall building or whatever it is, is yards away from us. It is radiating so much power. I can feel it through my bones.

"C-can you feel it?" I heard Ally whispered beside me and we all murmured a yes. As soon as we took a step forward, all heads of the..werewolves or something..turned to us. They snarled. And we all jumped back, apart from Sapphire. They showed their teeth and their pupils went small. They started running towards us until Sapphire told them to stop. Or rather, shouted. They all came into a halt, still glaring at us. Not noticing the power Sapphire just radiated. My eyes widened. I've read fantasy books before. Is she some kind of..A female alpha? Oh ghad. I'm getting crazy.

"These people are important so give way. Alpha wants to see them. " Ah, so she is not an alpha. That's weird. The werewolves parted and we were able to walk through but my mind is racing during that. We ,fortunately passed safely and we reached the building. we were led into a room, or an office i think, And a deep voice answered, inviting us to come in.

The sight before me is calming. A typical office it is. A desk was placed in the middle and there sat a boy, seems young for an alpha though. The guy looked up and his eyes widened and then he smiled.

"Wow, wow, wow. I didn't expected you to bring them to me this fast. Wow, they must have helped you a lot. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to accomplish this,this fast!" The alpha said and then laughed maniacally. We looked at him and started laughing. We don't know but it's the first thing we thought of. Sapphire looked emotionless, but the split-second pain in her eyes never escaped me. I stopped laughing. I don't know but something flickered inside me. Sapphire stood straight, avoiding all our eyes before excusing herself. The alpha did not even give her a second glance but instead turned to us.

"Anyway, enough of that kind of talks, you'll have your classes here, I surely hope this had been discussed to you by that girl. But I doubt it. Anyway, here's your keys and room number and then you're free to go. Oh and your parents are somewhere there, you can meet them in weekends. I'll see your progress bye." with that, we are ushered out and we heard the door slam shot. I noticed that the nerdy girl and the boy are still here. The girl looked mad.

"What the fuck does that asshole think? He can't just talk and insult Sapphire like that! If I knew that would be what our Alpha would be like, then I never should have joined this pack! This is fucking disgusting. He doesn't even know how strong Sapphire is!." The girl blurted and we all fell silent. her and the boy were the only ones that did not laugh awhile ago. I can feel an unfamiliar emotion inside me. Guilt.

" Let's just..forget about that.." Dinah trailed off once she saw the girl's expression.

"Forget it? FORGET IT?! Sapphire is my friend and she got insulted and you're telling me to 'forget it'? Are you insane? AND ALL OF YOU FIVE! YOU DID NOTHING BUT LAUGH. YOU GUYS HAVE NO HEARTS. YOU DISGUST ME!" And with that, she ran away, the boy following her and calling her name. Emily, I think.

The others shrugged and continued walking. I tried to shake it off too but the pain in Sapphire's eyes were flashing before me. The others noticed and asked me.

"I think..she's right. We're gonna apologize later and that's final." I said firmly and no one objected. They all nodded and we continued walking until we reached the dorm we are in. Me and dinah are sharing,. Our other roommate is not in yet. Camila, Ally and Lauren are sharing. Their dorm is similar with ours but ours have windows,. We stepped in and took in our surroundings.

This is it. New life. New people. New problems.

I looked outside and saw the dark sky. It's gonna rain. So much. and there, it started pouring hard. I looked below and saw Sapphire. Walking in the middle of the pouring rain. Until she went out of my sight.
