All was silent. Their eyes glued to the pale body of Sapphire resting peacefully on a couch in Normani,Dinah and Emily's room. It was Dawn, the sun almost peaking out but the first stray of lights haven't been released yet. The girl, black hair, hair that reaches the end of her neck, tall, a bit skinny yet has a strange aura around her, who brought Sapphire was across the others, fidgeting and looking everywhere but them. Finally, Garnet cleared his throat. The others looked up.

Garnet stood up and looked at the mysterious girl, the others following his gaze. The girl stiffened at their stares. " Now that Sapphire's been taken care of, it's time for us to know who are you and what your real intentions are? And don't even think of lying. My fist is ready." At this, Ally nudged Garnet, pointing out that he was being too harsh but Garnet ignored her. His gaze is focused on the girl. The girl, hearing garnet's concealed threat, stood up broadly. Her eyes held determination and her stiff posture from a while ago vanished like it was never been there. She held their stares and got ready for an explanation when Sapphire groaned and opened her eyes. All their focus was turned to her and the girls, excluding the mysterious girl, crowded upon her, asking a bunch of questions. Sapphire tried to open her eyes and her ears were greeted by a bunch of noises. Something inside her stirred and words from her mouth came pouring out. You might think that the normal people from injured state would say calm, nice things and asks questions.  The words that came out of her is quite unusual, indeed.

"Shut the hell up people! My ears are damn ringing." Sapphire groaned as she sat up, not even quite aware of where she was, who were the people with her, but she don't care, not at all.

Silence followed again, they watched Sapphire with their eyes wide, shocked at her outburst. Minutes passed and Sapphire's headache subsided and she opened her eyes. She saw her surroundings and the others and one familiar yet unfamiliar girl at the same time. She furrowed her eyebrows but gave a small smile.

"uhh..Hi?" her tone was uncertain. She healed fast and it feels like nothing happened to her. Memories flooded back on her and she realized she got no idea how she got here but she kinda figured out that the mysterious girl was the one responsible for it.

"What happened?" She asked casually as she stretched some of her limbs  that felt like it haven't been bent for years.  She failed to see the looks that passed between the others, excluding the mysterious girl of course.

"Actually, this girl here should explain it to us right now. Let us all hear it. No interruptions." Garnet said gesturing to the mysterious girl fidgeting on the opposite side of them. Sapphire turned her blue eyes on her and studied her. Her eyes narrowed.

"A vampire. What is she doing here?"

The girl sighed. Time for explanation. " Yes, I'm a vampire. The name's Mikaela Carl. I was here when this girl-" she gestured towards Sapphire "beat Grey to save the other girl. Remember the deal? Once she beat him, he will let the other girl go, but the deal didn't stated that they can't do anything to Sapphire. That night, they sent a few vampires to kidnapped her and they successfully did because Sapphire passed out before she can even process what was happening. That blow from Grey was hard. So hard, It killed a lot of people. In fact, No one , who had received that kind of blow, survived through it. But you did which sparked attention to us. I was there. I blended with the guards. You were in a cell, a cold, cemented cell that we use for the prisoners, for humans or wolves, not vampires. Now that you think about it, I don't even know why I helped you escape. Something inside me stirred, telling me to let you escape. "

"So you mean you don't really want to let her escape? Is that what you're saying?" Garnet accused, not even bothering to contain his temper. Normani wanted to held him and calm him down but she was confused about them so she remained silent. Ally was the one who hushed Garnet down.
