Emily and the others appeared at a middle of nowhere. Emily had been healing quite fast now since she is a wolf and it's an advantage. There are rows and rows of trees everywhere you look and it blocks out the sun from coming in so it was darker than usual.

"Well, this is obviously the kind of place vampires would reside in" Conan snorted.

Emily jabbed him under the ribcage. "Shut up." She hissed while Conan groaned and muttered an apology.

With them still wondering where to go, Mikaela turned to them.
"Okay, I need all of you to stay here until I transport back and gives you all the signal to come in. See that line?" She pointed at a barely visible thin and straight line in the ground a few steps away from them. "Once you stepped on it there is a whole lot of chance that you can get caught immediately. So I suggest not to and then hide yourself up in the trees. Got it?" The others nodded.

"You mean you're going alone?" Drei asked his eyebrows furrowed with worry etched all over his face. Mikaela soften and placed a hand in Drei's left cheek.

"I'll be fine." Was Mikaela's dazed response. Ally,Camila and Dinah made cute and fangirling noises behind them, enough to snap Mikaela out of the trance and quickly transported out of sight. Normani and Garnet looked at each other at the same time and she looked away quickly after meeting his gaze. With all that's happening, Garnet could not do something special and romantic for Normani. All he can do now is to protect her and the others at all cost.

"Up on the trees everybody, have a partner and choose a tree." Drei ordered as he started climbing on the nearest tree on the left. He grabbed Ally's arm softly as he hoisted her up on the tree, with the dog after them. Garnet grabbed Normani and climbed on the next tree. And then Conan and Emily on the next tree.

On the right side, Dinah and Camila made themselves comfortable on the first tree. Rye looked at them and shrugged. Since he got no partner, they all looked at him worriedly but he just shrugged again. He easily climbed the third tree on the right. No one spoke, their senses alert for danger.

On the other hand, Mikaela appeared in the place where she had been working before she let Sapphire out, there at that very cell. The dungeon. She appeared outside the last cell which seemed empty. It will seem empty to normal human's eyes but Mikaela knew better. 4 decapitated heads are inside it, tucked in the corner. She recognized them as the second best vampire guards in them. Shocked was an understatement. Mikaela certainly didn't know who did that and she got no idea.

Quite engrossed with the shock she felt, the groans and voices outside had just entered her hearing and she went alert. But then, she felt the familiar tug in her stomach and she knew Lauren is there. And so is the man, the leader of the vampires. She dashed in there just in time to see Sapphire lunging for the man. She tried to stop her and yelled 'no' but she knew she's too late. She went to Lauren and all they can seem to do was watch. They were like glued to their positions and all they can seem to move were their eyes

They watched as Sapphire lunged and Mikaela was actually surprised when Sapphire managed to slam her shoulder towards the leader. As far as Mikaela know, no one had ever done that before.

The man slammed down the floor, a momentary shock was placed all over his face. He was quick to stand up and jumped a few feet apart from the mysterious girl. Who was she? He looking at her in wonder but he cannot get anything from her. The girl's face is now impassive. The anger a moment ago was nowhere to be seen. He raised an eyebrow and stared at the girl intently but a sudden cry from behind the girl broke his gaze.

It was Lauren. "Leave her alone" Lauren yelled at the man. She did not know why she yelled that, she just did. The man merely chuckled at her and took a step forward towards her. Lauren clutched Mikaela's hand tightly as fear settled in.
