"Wake! Wake up, I say!", a unfamiliar man dressed in dark clothing started nudging Estalet with his foot after she wouldn't wake up, even after shouting in her ear. Though, she has finally started to twist and turn. Suddenly the young guard froze at sensing her surroundings.
Suddenly raising her upper half up, the high guard prepared herself in a fighting stance. Glancing at her calf where a arrow had been embedded in, both her legs appeared to be wrapped up in white cloth and took a look back at the stranger before her.
"Where am I?", the guard questioned roughly having just woken up, while narrowing her eyes at the still-unknown man.
"Somewhere that I myself do not know", the dark man answered with a depressed tone.
Estalet took a moment or two to observe the room she is in, still keeping the mysterious person in her line of sight. she was in a small room, yet it was dark so she couldn't see too much. Despite the darkness, small bits of light were able to sneak through what appeared to be bars and Estalet frowned at that finding.
The man in front of her caught what the guard was looking at and nodded solemnly.
"What I do know though, is that we were captured. I had saw what happened to you and those two people near you saw me as a witness and knocked me out, they were too speedy that did not have a single chance of running", the apparent prisoner explained.
Estalet did not remember seeing the man there... How come he was kicking her to wake her when he was captured as well? "Then why is it that you were kicking me to awaken?", the young guard voiced.
"Ahhhh... I was just a bit worried with the wound you had gotten and how long you slept, I wasn't too sure you would wake up", he muttered at he started walking to a corner of the small room to sit.
The high guard furrowed her brows yet shook her head at the thought of her not awakening from her sleep.
"Have you any idea on who is here? Have you tried to escape yet?", Estalet quickly asked.
"Unfortunately I have, those bars seem to be enchanted so that they burn anything that touch them. Jerac, by the way and I do not know other than possibly the two that knocked me unconscious as well as a guard of some sort that comes every so often, to make sure no one escapes I presume", the prisoner informs as he shows his hands and the welts and burns that reside upon them, Estalet wincing at the sight. She still did not trust the man yet even so.
"Ekras", the guard announces the lie of a name, the man named Jerac nods in return.
Estalet looks behind her and notices the wall a foot or so away and starts scooting towards it. Bracing herself against the wall, she slowly tries to rise making sure to adjust her weight on the non arrow-pierced leg. Jerac notices her movements and was wide-eyed.
"What are you doing?! You are going to make it worse for your injuries?!", the captured man rhetorically comments.
"I am just fine", the young guard lies as she grit her teeth together in pain from her wounds. She was now standing against the wall with the more injured leg hovering above the ground. She started to hop the opposite way from the man using the rough wall for support, towards the bars.
Jerac winced in an act as if he couldn't comprehend the pain the guard must be in, and hoped the girl wasn't going to touch the bars as he did. She did not, instead was narrowing her eyes, trying to analyze what could be beyond the bars of this cell they occupied.
