Do you happen to know if you are able to walk with maybe crutches?", the friendly teacher asked Estalet softly.
"I am unsure as I am curious, myself- perhaps the next time a healer happens to come, I would be able to ask them then", the young guard suggested.
"It appears to be a well idea, yet unfortunately I must take my leave for my classes. We shall be sure to talk later", Ms. Entaller spoke kindly and did leave only a moment after with a nod.
Estalet was sick of the infirmary even after only two consecutive days of being there, she wanted and embraced the thought of being as free as a bird or wild cat. After a few more hours of being left alone with unknown guards and herself, the young guard finally noticed a woman with infirmary attire come into the large room.
"Ah, do you happen to take care of patients here?", the guard in training asked slightly shy and loudly, so that the woman can hear. The woman introduced herself as Mrs. Akah after walking over to Estalet and mentioned that she did work in the infirmary.
"Do you happen to know if I am allowed to walk with crutches yet?", Estalet questioned.
"Its not quite that it is us that you need permission to walk with crutches from, but see if your body is going to allow you without causing worse injuries. Either way, I can check for you", the healer explained while already beginning to probe softly along Estalet's weakened legs, "Does this hurt at all?"
"Yes... Although it does not hurt as much as the other day ago", the young guard answered nervously, a tad afraid that she was going to be told that she was not ready to walk yet. The pain only seemed to be a dull stinging- rather than a largely ominous pain, definitely an improvement on her legs healing.
"In the case that you believe you can walk... Your healing seems to be going splendidly", Estalet started nodding enthusiastically "...then I suppose you are able to, let me go grab a pair of crutches for you", Mrs. Akah finishes, already moving to unstrap the young guards legs and go to retrieve the needed crutches.
"Thank you", Estalet murmured shortly.
"Before you try to achieve standing, let me perhaps encourage the healing of your legs", the healer speaks as she started raising her hands slightly before closing her eyes. A white shine began to emit from the center of her palm, continuing to grow like a weed until it covered her entire hand. Mrs. Akah proceeded to hover her light hands over injured legs in a constant motion, the light seeming to latch onto the hurt skin until a moment later where it would appear to fade away.
Despite a neutral face, despite the miniaturized pain, and despite seeing gifts many times before- or hearing about them- Estalet was still in awe with the high guard's different abilities. She also admired gifts. No, not exactly jealously, Estalet does not mind having no unique powers. The young guard's straying thoughts were suddenly silenced, feeling a strange, yet small numbing on her legs. The guard took a glance at the healer.
"Only a temporary numbing, it only means that my power is healing you a tad bit more", the healer responds to the young guards familiar glance, having done this to many other guards. The said guard nodded in appreciation of the explanation. Soon enough any resemblances of a white glow disappeared.
"Thank you", Estalet repeated once more.
"Now dear, are you going to be well on your own? As I do need to check upon the other guards", the infirmary worker questioned. A nod was all it took for Mrs. Akah to dart away with helping in mind. With the soothing numbness having went away, Estalet moved her legs over the infirmary bed, readying to face the crutches and moving around again. As the young guard moved, she seemed to be like as if she was facing against a vicious pride of (1)Tyrsse.
