The two figures were not surprised by the guard's current state of limping and merely watched as she came up from behind the spy with the bow. Soon enough, the two stopped walking altogether.
"I have brought the guard as you have asked", the bow-handler speaks first.
The man sitting at the end of the table did not say a word in response and resumed staring at the guard. Estalet on the other palm, felt uncomfortable and caged as if she was being shown off like a prized creature. All the man did was stare at the young guard and she felt as if a serpentine creature was crawling up her back. The girl felt nervous all of a sudden, wanting to go with her flight or fight instincts, starting to back up.
"Do not let her be released", the man sitting down commanded, while the other figure continued to stand like a statue. Before the guard knew anything, the bow-woman had darted behind her and held her shoulders as she kicked the back of her legs, the guard forced into a kneeling position and a noise of distress being emitted.
"This high-guard does not seem so strong as she was told to me she would be, as well as her trying to run away like a cowardly animal", the man commented with a fake depressed tone.
"If I may?", the woman behind the guard questioned in asking for permission to speak more. The man nodded.
"I doubt the little high guard would be this weak if her injuries were healed, she had actually taken down two of our men by the time I arrived to retrieve her, even containing weakened legs. Only one seemed to have been killed while the other remains incapacitated", the woman announced.
"Hmm, seems i have the girl underestimated, this is good", the man responded with a smirk from under his also-covered hood, though his is black with green swirls stitched into it gracefully, not even flinching at the thought of having a pair of his workers down.
"Now, I will tell you what we are, since we are quite popular-", the man grins,"-The info would have no use if you happen to end up escaping from some of these fools. We are-",
"Wait! But-", the spy who she let escape, as the young guard identified, interrupted.
"Shut...!"., the man exclaimed in warning.
"You may have captured this high guard-", he sneers 'high guard' out,"-but that gives you not a higher position than me", the unfamiliar man finishes reprimanding the spy. The spy started gritting his teeth in anger, yet bowed and continued to obey.
"Proceeding unto what I must say, We are the vigilantes with a long past against the high guards. We are the popular corrupted organization named 'The Blades', and I am positive that you have met a couple of my top spies? Eza, as he likes to be called, is the spy near me. The spy behind you, currently holding you as a hostage of sorts, is Koda. I myself? I am- for now I am irrevalent to your knowledge," the man who seems to be in charge, introduces.
Estalet was somewhat frustrated and was determined that she was not going to say her name anytime soon. She had no use to be polite to her enemies. The man's introduction also reminded her of being captive, which seemed to add fuel to the fire. Last but definitely not the least, the young guard was sure of herself that she heard the man say, 'corrupted'. She widened her eyes at the realization that all of these ...people... May be part of the corrupted.
"Indeed", the man comments, easily noticing the guards reaction. The man lifted his head higher with pride and seemed to show off his glowing red eyes.
"Why must you capture me? I am but a speck in the high guard school, a burden I would guess since I am powerless", the young guard could not refrain from asking.
