Fight or flight instincts consumed Estalet, and felt the memory of Eza attacking gripping painfully at her mind. She quickly sat up and glanced at the now-closer creature ready to spill blood. Was this really a true high guard? Are they supposed to act in this viscious way? The thoughts flew through the young guards mind in seconds and her eyes glazed over in panic. The non-gifted acted quickly, bringing her arms up and snatching the sword out from the weak and still-young tree, jutting the blade point outwards towards the coming danger.
There is a difference. Different feelings. Different ways to simply wield a sword, and different swords themselves. The young female shivered in horror. There is a difference in injuring or even killing a high guard brother or sister and killing a corrupted. Now... The gazes of fear towards her has never been experienced. Coughing, feeling unable to properly take in or let out air made the young female dash into the shielding arms of dying nature.
Estalet never once looked back, in fear of her ally's in persuit for deadly revenge. Finally she let herself slide unto a sitting position on a rock when she did no longer recognize the area of forest she was in. The high guard softly wheezed in tiredness, yet let herself relax in assurance no harm would come to her in the loving arms of her forest. Closing her eye's till they were both only half open and sliding carefully till she was laying against the cool rock and breeze, gave the young female the chance to calm till later.
"Resssst..." A voice softly whispered to the knodding away high guard.
"Shhhh..." The same voice repeated till it helped the exhausted guard pass out.
The person nuzzled against the guard's slightly damp hair in reassurance, yet they quickly dart a few feet away after knowing the guard is sleeping. He sensed the nature's call and could never refuse. Partially grimacing the person quickly set himself to rest against a tree, content to stare at simple wildlife or cloud watching.

Time passed quickly before anyone knew, the day turning into past midnight.
The darkness consumed everything upon the land with only the moonlight to spare creatures, and cracks in the trees wilting leaves. The person sensed something amiss and woke from his nap he happened to fall into in boredness. He glaced over to the girl with fine night sight, noticing small frills sprouting from her neck. He was hypnotized by the new development appearing on the perfect high guard, gently grooming the scaley, almost transparent things.
The male never would have expected a reaction from the sleeping female, but indeed did the guard start to purr of a growling sort in enjoyment of the settings. The noise was unusual, and almost a gravelly rather than normally soft purring. The anomaly quickly went on its way as it came, the high guard quickly stirring awake and coughing. The male did not expect this so fast and jumped back, slinking into the cover of night- watching, waiting, like a predator does its prey.
Quietly groaning awake, the high guard stretched yet froze as her sleepy haze revealed her trickling memories. A unusually strong scent wafted itself into her senses. Estalet was quickly on her alert, feeling something stretch along her neck in warning, tickling her neck. The female steeled herself and observed her surroundings in wariness although her sight was hindered with the night.
Estalet felt around at trees and rocks, as the only hint to her placing in the wilderness. The young woman winced in annoyance as small bugs would bite her from time to time from the trees. Finally she saw the loving mirror of the moon guiding her in its light, she resisted a small grin as she walked up to the small pond.
Finally feeling along her neck in curiosity, she grasped at scaley strings with almost translucent webbing in between them. Still she felt for their origin along her neck, feeling the strange attachments connecting with skin of her neck- letting out a breath of air in surprise.
