Charmed!

Chapter 5: Sleep!

     "THE POWER OF FOUR WILL HELP US SORE! THE POWER OF FOUR WILL HELP US SORE! THE POWER OF FOUR WILL HELP US SORE! THE POWER OF FOUR WILL HELP US SORE!" The Charmed ones chanted as the demon was vanquished. Paige callapsed from her wound. "LEO!" Piper yelled and then Leo appeared in orbs. "What happened?" Leo asked as he knelt down beside Paige. "Explain later, heal now." Phoebe ordered. Leo healed Paige and then she gasped for air. "Are you okay?" Prue asked. "I'm fine, now. Thanks." Paige reassured. They all smiled and hugged and there were sighs in relief.
       Later that day Prue ran inside the house with a big smile on her face. Phoebe was in the living room studying for her final exam in college to graduate. "Why are you so happy?" Phoebe asked with a chuckle not looking up from her computer. "Andy asked me to marry him!" Prue exclaimed. Phoebe's head shot up and she ran over there to hug her. Then Piper walked in from the kitchen. "Wait, what?" Piper asked and Prue showed her the ring. They were cheering and hugging when Paige walked down rubbing her eyes. "What's going on?" Paige asked yawning. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at the sleepy Paige. Phoebe walked on the stairs where she was. "Are you okay honey. You've been sleeping since what happened this morning." Phoebe asked. "Yeah, I guess. I just don't feel like my self and for some reason I'm always tired and never hungry." Paige explained. "Maybe you should try eating something. You haven't ate since breakfast which you didn't get to finished because it was interrupted by the demon." Piper explained. Paige nodded and walked with them to the kitchen where Piper made food and she started eating. Then she couldn't finish. They were all talking when Paige collapsed. They all ran over there and she looked weird, different. "Leo!" Piper called. Leo orbed down there from upstairs and orbed Paige to her room. "Leo, go check with the elders." Phoebe ordered and Leo nodded then left.
     It has been a week and there wasn't any change. Paige was still unconscious and in her bed. "What are we going to do?" Phoebe asked as she sat on the edge of Paige's bed. "I don't know. But we can't just stay here." Prue stated. "And we're not." Piper exclaimed as she walked in the room. "Where are you going?" Prue and Phoebe asked in unison. "To find the solution. Leo said that the elders found out that this is the rare sleeping demon. We noticed that her wound is gone, but it's not. It was sucked inside her and is eating her from the inside out. It makes her in a peaceful sleep until the inside wound sucks her dry and she'll poof from thin air and just vanish. She'll be dead." Piper explained as her other two sisters gasped. "But there is a cure. We have to go to the underworld and find a rare flower that blooms there. I know that the underworld is dark and flowerless but this flower is here so that no one can get it to cure a human or a witch. So it'll be hard to get with the demon defending it but we can get it. We are a witch short but we still have the power of three. So Cole is going to stay here and watch Paige while us three and Leo go to the underworld." Piper explained.
       Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Leo were in the underworld in search of this rare flower. They kept getting attacked by demons but they're trying to stay in hiding. "There is the flower." Phoebe exclaimed. "But how will we get it?" Prue asked. "Like this." Piper stated and then she explained the plan. Piper froze the demons and blasted the glass box with her powers. Then when she was about to grab the flower demons attacked and the other went to help.
              Meanwhile Cole was watching Paige. He was reading a book and sitting on a chair next to her bed when she started shake uncontrollably. Cole put down his book and went to help but it was no use. Cole wanted to tell the others but he couldn't leave Paige.
           Piper grabbed the flower when a demon stabbed her with an athame. Phoebe grabbed the flower then Leo orbed everyone out. They were in the living room so Phoebe and Prue ran upstairs to save Paige so Leo can save Piper. Leo healed her and helped her up. Then they went upstairs and saw Paige still not waking up but falling in a deeper sleep. "Why isn't working?" Phoebe asked. "What are we doing wrong?" Prue asked. "Move." Leo stated as he got over to her. He grabbed the flower and put it on her wound then a light appeared and everyone backed away. The light got bigger and then it flashed blinding everyone. When they could see again Paige still wasn't getting up and they feared the worst. Then Paige opened her eyes and smiled at them who all sighed in relief. "Why is your shirt bloody Piper?" Paige asked. Piper laughed. "It's a long story." Piper exclaimed. They all hugged her then went out to eat together. Piper told Paige everything that happened. They came home and celebrated the good things.
