Chapter 15: Trying!

  "He's safe!" Leo reassured giving Piper a kiss on the forehead. Piper looked down at her new baby boy. The light started shimmering above them. "What's that?" Piper asked holding her new baby boy close to her. "The magics back." Phoebe stated smiling. "What are you going to name him?" Prue asked also smiling. "Whiet.... After his daddy. Matthews after his brave Aunt Paige. Then Hallowell.... After the rest of us." Piper replied. "Wyatt Matthews Hallowell." Paige stated. "My baby boy." Piper added and everyone was smiling.
     Piper woke up in the middle of the night and went to Wyatt. She stayed up the rest of the night with him. In the morning Prue went to the house. "Piper!" Prue called. "In here!" Piper called back. Prue walked in the family room and found a very tired Piper rocking Wyatt. "You've been up all night?" Piper asked. "Half of the night." Piper replied. "Oh." Prue stated sitting down. "Is everything okay?" Piper asked. "I thought...." Prue stated. "What?" Piper asked leaning forward. "I thought I was pregnant." Prue responded. "Oh my gosh, that's great!" Piper exclaimed. There was a moment of silence and Prue put her head down. "Wait. Thought?" Piper asked. "It turned out to be negative. The first one said positive. But then I decided to try again before I told anyone. Andy still doesn't know that I even tried a pregnancy test." Prue explained. "Prue...." Piper started. "Leo!" Piper called. "What are you doing?" Prue asked. Piper put up her pointer finger telling her just a minute. "Leo!" Piper called again. Leo orbed in. "Yeah sweetie?" Leo asked. "Take Wyatt. I need to talk to Prue." Piper stated and Leo nodded in agreement. Leo took Wyatt and orbed away.
     Piper sat next to Prue. "It's okay." Piper reassured hugging Prue. "We weren't going to tell anyone. But.... We're trying." Prue stated. "Trying?" Piper asked. "We're trying to get pregnant." Prue admitted. "That's great!" Piper exclaimed. A tear went down Prue's cheek but Piper wiped it away. "What's wrong?" Piper asked. "We've been trying for a month. This was the first time I thought I was pregnant and I was so happy. I couldn't wait to tell Andy and the rest of you. But I decided to try again to make sure it's positive and don't give anyone false hope so no one got hurt, except me. I got hurt because I had false hope. I want to be a mom so bad. What am I supposed to do? I knew I could talk to you because you had such a hard time getting pregnant and you got hurt. Hurt so bad. I never knew how you handled it. Always seeing the negative sign on the pregnancy test. It must have hurt you so much and you wanted to be a mom more then ever. The happiest day of your life was finding out you were pregnant after so long. You must have been afraid that you couldn't have kids. I know I am." Prue explained. "Prue. Look. I know how hard it is. But it took me and Leo so long. A lot of hurt and disappointment followed. The want and hope was the worst. I wanted it so bad and sometimes I thought I was, but I wasn't. But you have to stay strong. Don't tell the others you're trying because everyone will be overly excited and their happiness will make you more sad because you remember you're still not pregnant. I wish we would have waited to tell everyone. But you'll be okay because it will happen for you; when it's time. It's always about time. Remember this.... Everything happens for a reason." Piper explained and Prue nodded. "Now go wipe your tears." Piper stated and Prue nodded again. Prue went to the restroom.
       Leo walked back in. "Is everything okay?" Leo asked. "She will be." Piper responded. Phoebe walked down stairs. "It's about time you wake up." Piper stated. "Shut up. Where's Paige?" Phoebe asked. "Left early this morning. Never said where she's going." Piper stated. "Oh." Phoebe stated. "Why?" Piper asked as Prue walked down stairs. "Why what?" Prue asked crossing her arms. "Why Phoebe wants to know where Paige is." Piper replied. "Henry keeps calling. He said Paige won't answer him. I'm worried." Phoebe explained. "This isn't good." Piper stated looking at all of them.
   Prue woke up completely naked next to Andy who's completely naked. Her head was on his chest. She found his shirt and put it on. It barely covered everywhere that needs to be covered. She walked to the restroom and took a pregnacy test.
     She walked out and saw Andy walk out in only pants. "So?" Andy asked. Prue shook her head and was holding back tears. Andy sighed and put his hands threw his hair. He walked up to her and gave her a kiss on the forehead. They hugged and Prue berried her head in his chest. Andy kissed the top of her head. "It's okay. We'll get there." Andy reassured and Prue nodded in agreement. Andy walked into the restroom and there was a knock on the door. Prue answered it and saw Paige crying. "Paige?" Prue asked. "Could I come in?" Paige asked and Prue nodded. They sat down inside.
