Chapter 37: Cupid!

       Phoebe was at her new apartment and enjoying some time alone. She was on her computer working on her advice by the deadline at 8:00 tonight. She heard her phone ringing on her coffee table so she picked it up. It was Prue. She put her laptop on her coffee table and answered it. "Hey." Phoebe greeted. "Hi, Phoebs." Prue greeted. "Is everything okay?" Phoebe asked. "Yeah. I thought we were going to hang out today?" Prue asked. "Right, I forgot. I'll meetyyou at the coffee shop." Phoebe stated and she hung up. Then she got changed and left.
    Phoebe and Prue were hanging out at the coffe shop. They grabbed their coffee's and decided to leave. Phoebe bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry." Phoebe apologized and the guy starred at her as she started walking off. Then Prue ran up to her and stopped her. "Are you insane?" Prue asked. "Excuse me?" Phoebe asked. "That guy was so checking you out." Prue stated. "I don't need a guy right now." Phoebe stated. "Yes, you do. You have the successful job. You have your sisters and nephews. Now you need the guy so you can have your own kids." Prue explained and Phoebe sighed. "You're still not over Cole?" Prue asked. Phoebe didn't answer. "But you dated since him." Prue stated. "Yes, and they were short relationships with guys I didn't really like. I was trying to force myself to find someone and to get married so I can have kids, but I realized that's not how it works. I can't find love, love has to find me. That's what happened with Cole." Phoebe explained and Prue sighed as Phoebe walked away and Prue followed.
     Phoebe was in her apartment when Paige orbed in. "Paige! Really?" Phoebe asked. "Oh, sorry." Paige apologized. Paige orbed out and there was a knock on the door. Phoebe sighed and got up and opened the door. "Hello, Phoebe." Paige greeted and Phoebe smiled. "Come in." Phoebe invited Paige in and she walked in. "Better?" Paige asked and Phoebe laughed. "Much." Phoebe replied and they both laughed.
    They were talking for about an hour when a guy walked in. Phoebe stood up confused. "Oh, I'm sorry. I must have the wrong room." The guy apologized. "Yeah. How did the key work?" Phoebe asked. "I don't know. I guess I have to check it out with the manager." The guy stated. Phoebe just looked at him. "Well, see you later." The guy stated and he left. "Is that the guy Prue told me about?" Paige asked. "Yeah." Phoebe stated sitting down. "And you just let him go! He just appeared in your apartment!" Paige exclaimed. "Yeah. Doesn't seem kind of weird that he appeared here and his key worked?" Phoebe asked. "Yeah, it's called fate." Paige replied. "No. I think he's a demon. I'm going to check it out." Phoebe stated and Paige sighed. Paige left to let Phoebe deal with a so called demon.
    Phoebe was in the attack in the manner looking in the Book of Shadows. She had a notpad and a pen. She was writing down idea's of who this guy could be. Then Piper walked in. "Phoebe?" Piper asked and Phoebe looked up. "Oh. Hey, Piper." Phoebe greeted and she lookef back down. "What are you doing up here? Is there a demon?" Piper asked. "Possibly." Phoebe replied. "What does that mean?" Piper asked. "Not sure yet." Phoebe replied. She closed the book and walked over to Piper. "Don't worry. I'll figure this out." Phoebe stated and then gave Piper a kiss on the cheek. She smiled and then left leaving Piper confused.
Phoebe walked to her apartment door and put the notepad and pen in her purse. She unlocked the door and walked in. She turned around to face the door and locked it. She turned back around and jumped when she saw that same guy on a chair and hugging a pillow. "I wondered when you'd get back." The guy stated. "How?" Phoebe asked and the guy smiled. "I knew it! You're a demon!" Phoebe exclaimed. "No." The guy stated making Phoebe frown. The guy put the pillow down and got up. "I'm a Cupid, but you can call me Coop. The elders sent me to you to help you find love because they feel like they owe it to you." Coop explained. "I don't need help finding love." Phoebe stated. "Apparently you do because you didn't even notice me at the coffee shop." Coop stated. "I didn't notice you because, because you're just not cute." Phoebe stated. "I'm cute, your resistant." Coop stated and Phoebe rolled her eyes. "Why are you here?" Phoebe asked. "I already told you. You need to find love, you deserve it. Don't you want to have that daughter you saw in your vision?" Coop asked. Phoebe looked at him and he was really close to her. She held back tears but didn't answer his question. Coop waved his ring over Phoebe and a big pinkish force feild appeared. She put her arms over her body. "What did you do to me?" Phoebe asked. "Nothing, you're doing it to yourself. There's a block in your heart, no wonder your afraid to find love." Coop explained. "I'm not afraid!" Phoebe exclaimed and Coop let out a small laugh. "Hey!" Phoebe exclaimed. "I'm sorry but you need to stop dening it." Coop stated. Phoebe rolled her eyes. "I'll be back later. Yell my name whenever you need me." Coop stated and he beamed out. Phoebe just stood there, still a little shocked.
