Chapter 28: Melinda Warren!

     Prue put Victor in Pipers room with her boys and then went up to the attack with Piper and Claire. "Are we going to summon Melinda?" Prue asked. "Yeah. I have the candles and the book of shadows and the athame." Piper explained and Prue nodded. Prue sat across from Piper. "Do we just need blood or should we get the amulet?" Piper asked. "It worked for blood last time." Prue replied and Piper nodded.
      Piper grabbed the athame. "You're doing it?" Prue asked. "Yeah. Why?" Piper asked as Phoebe and Paige walked in. "I remember the first time we had to draw blood for a spell. You couldn't do it and I ended up having to do it." Prue stated and Phoebe laughed startling them both. "First of all, shut up. I've been a witch for a while and I can handle it. Second of all, what are you guys doing here?" Piper asked. "We need to talk to Claire." Phoebe replied. "Claire.... Do you have anything of your brothers?" Paige asked. Claire went into her pocket and grabbed a pocket watch. "This pocket watch." Claire responded. Paige took it and examined it. "Thank you, Claire." Paige stated and Claire nodded. Phoebe and Paige left the attack. "Claire, before we start, how did you or your mom find the amulet?" Prue asked. "It's a magical amulet. She needed it so she can protect me and then it appeared to her. She looked it up and found out what it could do. So she gave it to me and I put it on." Claire explained. "What can it do?" Prue asked. "Whoever is wearing it is magically protected, not just by magic. But if you're scared or in trouble, of any kind, the amulet detects it and protects you." Claire explained. "Kind of like Wyatt's sheild." Piper muttered with a sigh.
        Piper used the athame and poked her finger, she didn't even wince. They decided to use the amulet, so the amulet is on the middle of the night. Piper let the blood drop from her finger and onto the amulet. Prue and Piper held hands across the table and started the summoning spell. "Melinda Warren, blood of our blood. Our great, great, great, great, great, great, grandmother, we summon thee." The two girls chanted and then a gust of wind appeared. It was swirling really hard and they had hold onto something and closed their eyes to keep the wind from getting into their eyes.
       Then the wind stopped and they opened their eyes. Melinda stood there in old rags for clothes. They smiled at her. "Prue! Piper!" Melinda exclaimed with a smile and they stood up. "You remember us?" Piper asked with a smile. "Of course! Why wouldn't I?" Melinda asked. "We figured if we brought you back again you wouldn't remember us bringing you back the first time." Prue explained. "It's not like you brought me back from the past when I was alive. You brought me when I was already do, so I do remember." Melinda explained and she hugged both of them. "Where's Phoebe?" Melinda asked. "Down stairs with Paige." Prue replied. "Who's Paige?" Melinda asked. "That's right. You don't know." Prue realised. "Know what?" Melinda asked. "Turns out we have a half sister. Our mom had a baby with her whitelighter." Piper explained and Melinda nodded. "Who's this?" Melinda asked as she pointed to Claire. "One of Paige's charges." Piper replied. "Lets get you changed and then you can see Phoebe again and meet Paige." Prue stated and Melinda smiled.
