Kiera pov:

The nurses and doctors that are surrounding me in the room have all given me their condolences.

I knew I'm supposed to feel some sort of grief but I can't because I refuse to believe my baby is dead.

If she was dead I would feel it. I heard her cry and it was a strong cry with life behind it.

A tear leaves my eye not because my baby is dead but because I'm stuck here with these people who won't believe me.

As the last nurse leave after checking my vitals I make a vow to never stop looking for her.

One month later....

I haven't given up the search for my daughter even though a couple of times I thought I was close it never end up being her.

So now I am packing up my stuff heading back to my parents home. They don't know I'm coming.

I'm just passing through to the next town on a tip about my daughter from some of the new friends I met along the way. Some are going with me on this trip just in case the tip doesn't pan out, because last time I had a complete break down, if I wouldn't have just ended a cell phone call with Chris the ambulance that came for me wouldn't have had anyone to contact.

I remember it like it was yesterday it was a two weeks after I had got out of the hospital ( flashback)

Sitting in the car outside of the department store where my contact said he saw a new girl in town that wasn't kin to any of the people there and no one has seen her before. The thing that interest me was the baby girl that was with her.

They say the girl said that she just had the baby two week ago while out traveling and was on her way to surprise her boyfriend with their new addition to their family.

so I'm out here waiting while she pick up an special order when my phone ring.

" hello" I say turning on my speaker phone.

"Hi sweetie. what are you doing?" he say sounding like he was jogging like he normally do at this time of morning.

I tell him where I am and what I'm here for.

"Are you crazy you just got out the hospital, I'll be there in a minute don't do anything until I get there." he said hanging up the phone.

I end the call and look up just in time to see a familiar face, the girl who was sucking face with Ethan that day I went to tell him about our baby.

I got out the car because she held a pink bundle in her hands. I followed her in the store .When she turned around I duck behind a display case, hoping she didn't see me. She turned back around and continued to the sales clerk.

"Hi I'm here for my package." she said sniffing the air.

"Sure, one second."the sales clerk said rushing off to get her order.

she started to speak to her bundle in her arms.

"Daddy will be so surprised you are here a few weeks early, especially since that pitiful girl ran away and got rid of your brother or sister".

My heart skip a beat, she's talking about me and the tears I had been holding in fills my eye and threaten to spill over.

"I'm glad we have you so he never has to think about that again, and now that you're here daddy and my wedding can happen sooner then we thought." she said rocking her bundle back and forth.

My mind went into overdrive wondering did I mean anything to Ethan. He seems to have moved on. What has the tears spilling down my face was the fact that he wanted me to abort our baby to have one with that whore. Then she grabbed her cellphone that was ringing. "Hello, Oh hi Ethan you're here? I'm at the store picking up my package I'll be right there." she said ending the call.
