Forbidden Love

Chapter 5

Ethan's pov:

I'm on Janet's pack land and she's not here. I decide to wait outside. What would make a new mother cut her healing time to go shop and take her newborn with her.

Most new mom would be resting and cooing over their new baby.

My thought were interrupted when I hear someone clear their throat.

"Sir my name is Jessica excuse me for bothering you but I need to speak with you."

"Okay hi Jessica I'm Ethan what can I do for you."

"Well I know you are miss Janet intended, she say lowering her head.

" I just thought you should know that she's been secretly sneaking around with my mate. Sure he's not my real mate but we begun the mating process then she comes home and I can smell her all over him. Then she disappeared again and now she shows up with a baby. I just want to know if the baby is yours or my mate." she finished never raising her head.

"When is this supposed to have happened?" I ask.

"About four months ago" she said looking up with tears in her eyes.

"Don't cry unfortunately Janet was pregnant before then." Relief instantly filled her eyes.

Before I could say anything else I smelled Janet's scent. She walk up to me and Jessica and gives Jessica a glare and turn and tries to kiss me. I moved in time for her to kissed my cheek.

My stomach churns just from that minor contact and I fight the urge to wipe my skin where her lips had touch me.

I instantly reach for my daughter and the site of her had me forgetting Janet was there.

She beautiful hazel eyes and her hair was black and wavy. I immediately knew she was mine. She looks exactly like I did on my baby pictures my mom has all around the house. I kissed the top of her head and head towards my car.

"Ethan wait where are you going?" Janet said scrambling behind me in those high heels she love.

"I'm taking my daughter home. You are more than welcome to stay here." I say placing my baby girl in the car sear I brought for her.

Janet grabs my car door as I open it to get in.

"Wait a minute Ethan I need to get my things."

"You have exactly 10 minutes before we leave without you." I say closing my door.

Janet runs in the house.

"You could have given me a chance to say goodbye to my family" Janet said getting in the passenger side of the car and slamming the door.

"You had plenty of time for hello's and goodbyes. My daughters need to be at home."

I turn on the radio to keep from talking to Janet.

The drive home was silent the baby slept most of the way except for feedings and diaper changes.

After a long ride home we pull up with my mom and dad standing on the porch with balloons in hand. Janet face lit up and she jumped out the car and ran to my parents and embraced them. I carefully removed my baby Kaila from her car seat and walked to my parents and they instantly fell in love with her.

weeks later......

Kaila is beautful if it wasn't for her Janet would be out on her hairy behind. She rarely spends time with our daughter. Kaila is with me or my mom.

Janet is off somewhere throwing her future position as Luna and mother to the next alpha around making people do what she say and my father goes along with anything she say or do.

My mom is watching Kaila for me while I run into town to get formula and diapers.

Janet she claim Kaila wouldn't take to her breast.

Her mothering skills need help too. She doesn't like to wake up at night for feeding or diaper changes, and most of the day Janet is nowhere around Kaila.

My dad rarely spend time with Kaila. I know if Kiera was Kaila mother things would be different.

Standing in the checkout line I see Kiera's mother climbing in her car I look over and in the passenger seat sat a girl that resembles Kiera.

I hurry and pay for my purchases and grab my bags, by the time I made it out of the store they were pulling onto the main road to their home.
