Chapter 14

Janet's pov:

That little bitch, how dare she? I covered my tracks perfectly. She couldn't have known unless, my stupid cousin, she had to open her big mouth. I need to see her but I can't leave there has been no sign of her or Kaila. Ethan hasn't changed back to his human form since he learned Kiera took Kaila. Its been four days and still no sign of them. Who would have thought a simple human could elude an angry werewolf pack but she has. I need to know what else my cousin told them. and on top of all that my father is Ethan's dad but he hasn't said why that's not a problem. Maybe after I finish with my cousin I'll find out.

Kiera pov:

Finally I'm far enough away that know one would think to look for me here. This place is perfect. Beautiful full and lush forests with fully functioning cabins with indoor plumbing and up to date kitchens and large bedrooms and large green backyards where you could have family bar-b-ques and swings in them.

The people here are nice especially to a single mother. After a night in a hotel a nice women offered a room at one of her cabins and a job at her restaurant. The daycare Kaila will be in is next door and there are plenty of kids in the area.

I changed my name and go by maria now, and Kaila is only Kaila at home. Everybody know her as ahsha

Its going on five days and Lisa the nice lady who's helping me assures me no one will know who I am she introducing me as her cousin from out of town that's thinking about moving here so I'm accepted and Kaila is well loved. Maybe in a few months I'll let Sasha and the guys know where I am.

Chris pov:

"Thanks Lisa I appreciate your help. Kiera needs all the help she can get."

"Its no problem Chris. After learning what has happened to her I'll make sure she and that little angel is safe and no one will know she's here."

"I know you have history with the alpha of the ridgewood pack. I hate to involve you. I was hoping she would have stopped before crossing state lines but I'm glad you and your pack will be able to keep her safe. "

"Yeah, he's married to my sister and he's gone to far

I'm just glad Ethan is not his. He married my sister to get the alpha title of his fathers land. My sister was already pregnant by her mate the alpha of my pack.

Knowing that his grandchild is here has him wanting to come over a lot and you know he want let anyone harm them."

"Thanks again I'll see you soon. Just got to take care of a few things here."

We hang up and I start making plans with the new news I just learned.

Ethan pov:

I've looked and searched Kiera has disappeared.

I make it to my house and change into mg human form its difficult because I haven't slept or eaten a thing and its takes the last of my energy to change. I slip on my shorts that are always by the porch and walk on the porch.

My mom nearly s scare me to death sitting in the dark.

"We need to talk its important." my mom say.

"Mom can it wait I need to get back to the search for Kaila as soon as I can" I say

"That's what I want to talk to you about. Sit down son"
