Janet pov:

Sitting here wondering if he can tell or if he found out someway. He is alpha and not much slips past him, but I was careful. Hearing about that filthy human Kiera being back in town I came right here to see Ethan's dad.

"Listen Janet you have nothing to worry about. No one knows and it'll be to late when and if they do find out." he said rearing back in his chair.

"What do you mean to late, you could be strip of your alpha title and banished".

"I have a secret on my wife that will have her seeing anything my way." he say smiling from ear to ear.

"Is it as big as ours?" I ask curious.

"Yes."

"Well let me know, because anything to make her treat me better will help." I say wanting to know what he has on Ethan mother.

"All in good time and hopefully I won't have to use it.

especially since you have our granddaughter."

My heartbeat increase I take a couple breath to calm it. Because he can't know the truth.

"Janet did you hear me" ?

"I'm sorry I was just thinking, what did you say?"

In walks his men and he tells them its okay to speak in front of me.

"They are gone sir. When we got there I could smell their scent and there are two wolves and a vampire but they have left town." said one of his men.

"What about the girl? "

"She's gone too. The people in town say they have been asking are there any newborn baby girl in town."

Oh shit what am I going to do. I excuse myself and call the one person who knows.

"Hello, Paula can we meet.?"

"Hi, Janet now is not a good time."

"Why not?"

"Justin doesn't want me involved in whatever you are into."

"It's too late for that."

"I know but I can't help you anymore. Justin has become suspicious. He wants to know whats going on."

"He better not find out. Do you understand?"

"Yes but it may be to late."

"Well if it comes out that you helped me, you stand to lose just like me."

"I know, so maybe we shouldn't speak for a while."

"You keep your mouth shut and nothing will happen". I say hanging up not wanting to hear anything else she has to say.

I have one other person I can turn too. Hopefully he's still in love with me.
