Chapter 9

Kiera pov:

The drive to the next town was a quiet ride with everyone lost in their own thoughts.

I hope this tip pan out I don't know if I can handle another dead end.

"Okay the person we are meeting name is Justin and he says that a young lady past through with a baby girl. It may be our little girl" Chris said breaking the silence in the car.

"What makes them think it could be my daughter"? I ask.

"He wouldn't go into details, just that he thinks he has information that we need."

"With luck this is what we have been looking for." Sin said.

We pull up to the meeting place and its an abandoned cabin deep in the woods.

Chris hops out and scan the area and it seems be is sniffing the air. Sasha and him are always doing weird stuff like that.

Sin seems to be focused on a spot between the trees.

When a handsome guy walks out of the woods Chris Sin and Sasha push me behind them. I could barely see through the wall they built in front of me.

The guy Justin stops a few inches in front of us.

"Chris, Sasha its good to see you again." he said shaking their hand.

"This is Sin our good friend and this is Kiera the young lady you have information for." Chris said pointing at me and Sin.

"Okay let go in the house." Justin said walking to the cabin.

When we entered the inside we all took a seat.

"You have something for us?" Chris said taking a seat.

Justin pulls out a picture and hands it to Chris.

Chris pass the picture to me and my hearts tries to jump out my chest. Sasha moves closer to me and grabs my hand.

The baby in the picture I know is my daughter. I can feel it down to my soul.

Those eyes are the same ones who stared at me when the nurse placed her on my chest to see her.

"Where did you get this and where is the baby now" I say jumping out my seat.

Sasha grabs my hand and sit me back down.

"Justin tell me what you know." Chris ask.

"Well the young lady that has the baby is getting ready to marry the future alpha. The problem is that I know she wasn't pregnant."

"How do you know that?" Sasha asked.

"Because I know that the baby she was carrying she lost then a few months later she comes through this town with a newborn. That's when I started snooping and I found out that she is not who she say she is."

"Who is it? " I ask ready to get to this lady and get my baby back.

"Her name is Janae and her father has secured himself an alpha position and he's making sure he keeps it.

"Janae, what pac uhm place is she from." Chris ask.

"That's the thing she's not of the same package I mean place as her father."

"Okay how can we find her." Sin say moving to the window. He holds up his hand and say "We have company."

Justin Chris and Sasha sniff the air and Justin say "Its okay its just my mate."

He walks to the door and calls her on "Paula come in we know you out there."

When he returns he has a beautiful red head woman with green eyes that look like they have been crying.

"What are you doing here Paula?" Justin asks.

"Justin I was looking for you and followed your scent here."

"Since you are here maybe you can explain where janae's baby came from."

"I can't". she say backing up.

"You can and will." Justin say stopping her from leaving.

I look at the picture and say" please anything you know that will help me find my baby tell me."

"Okay, Janae stole the baby from a hospital in a town that she is from. She said it was easy her family works at the hospital you gave birth at. She needed a baby because she lied to the future alpha that she was pregnant and when she did become pregnant she lost the baby and had to have a baby or her plans to become Luna end. She is passing your baby off as hers." she finish with tears running down her face.

"Are you sure?" I ask

she nods her head.

"How do you know all this?" Chris said

"Because Janae is my cousin."

"Where can we find her?" Sasha say standing and walking towards Paula.

"She's one town over."

"What ridgewood?"

"Yes. She lives there with the baby."

My mind goes into overdrive my baby is in my hometown and Janae sounds almost like Janet but there's noway Ethan dad is her dad.

When we finished we hop back in the car and head back to ridgewood to find my daughter.

My mind has been trying to figure out who Janet/ Janae father is and how I'm going to get my daughter from her.

"Kiera what do you want to do?" Chris asks grabbing

my hand in his.

"I want to see and hold my daughter".

"You know we can't just walk in and snatch her." Sasha said.

"I have a plan. Its time for Janet to get a taste of what happens when you mess with one of my friends." Sin said with an eerie look on his face.

The rest of the drive home we get our plan together and its starts off running Janet crazy.

When we pull into town Chris heads to a motel on the outskirts of town.

When we enter the room Sin leaves to begin the first stages of our plan, by the end of the night I will be able to hold my baby girl.

Sitting on the bed waiting on Sin to return a knock on the door had us running into each other to get to it.

Sasha and Chris pull me back when I reach to open the door.

Chris opens the door and I thought I heard a growl. I look at Sasha and she crouched in front of me like a predator on a hunt.

The men at the door say "We are here at Sin request so stand down mutt."

Mutt, what's that supposed to mean.

I hear the crunch of metal and look towards the sound. Chris is shaking and Sasha is inching her way closer to Chris. When Chris lunged at the one that said mutt and Sasha charge at the other Sin steps. between the fight about to happen.

"Luke, Chad you are not here for that and we are working together if that's going to be a problem I need to know because this is important."

"Now if you can control yourselves you can stay if not I will see you when I get home" Sin say walking away from them.

"Okay, I've checked out the place and it should be easy to bring your daughter to you but will you be able to let her go back before daybreak."

"Yes because I know she will be home soon I just want to hold her."

"Okay"

I lean in to Sasha and whisper "why did Luke call Chris a mutt?"

"I'll explain later." she said.

"Luke, Chad this is my friend Chris and Sasha, and this young lady Kiera is the one we are helping you will do what it takes to keep her protected."

"Lets here this plan you have." Luke say.

after Sin explain the plan we all tried to rest because the next few days are going to be hell.

Its dark out and Sin has left to bring me my daughter and the anticipation is gut wrenching.
