يجب ان نفعل شيء
— "Statements" by Loreen (2017)
hoot, hoot
it walks twig after twig
creaks and rustles
its toes cackle
careful, my pygmy
stay with me
not on a life of solitary
not until i say
hoot, hoot
look mama, a stone
as big as a mushroom
hard enough to blow
hoot, hoot
my child, the twigs
brush her talons
a pebble could be
yet not should fall
from this tree
what will happen
to the ants you see
but mama,
hoot hoot
no, pointy beak
a stone, no trick
if I could, only
make you love
the twigs, the air
the elements for
all i care
hoot, hoot
stay with mama
i'm gonna
she yawns
into the moon,
hug you so tight.
