M'gann was confused. Not only was she still getting used to all the new rules of Earth, but she kept accidentally reading her teammates' minds. Even worse, they weren't acting how she thought they would.

First of all, there was Kaldur. He was so reserved around the team, but when M'gann read his mind he was so passionate. She almost couldn't stand upright when she was faced with all the love he had for Robin and Wally. Oh, and some other people M'gann didn't know, Tula, Garth, and Roy. M'gann could really tell that Kaldur loved them with all his heart.

Then, there was Wally. When she opened his mind she found out something she had definitely not expected. Especially after all the times he called her "babe" and "beautiful". And even more confusing were his feelings for Robin.

Speaking of Robin, M'gann was surprised when she opened his mind. He was better equipped to handle mental probes than the others so she hadn't learned much. She didn't even get the guy's name. One thing she could feel though was how much he loved Wally, Kaldur, Roy, some guy named Alfred, and Batman. There were some other people, too. She didn't catch their names, but she could sense so much pain and love for than that she had to physically step away from Robin.

She made a point not to invade Superboy's mind. She knew he'd hate her if she did.

And that was what she learned. And if anything in their brains made a profound impact on M'gann, it was her new favourite ship: birdflash.
