(Luke's P.O.V.)

Uncle Theo has been running around the house for about two hours now. He didn't seem to be tired, but I bet chasing after a 16 year old boy for two hours had so be somewhat exhausting. Especially after his long flight to get here. Mum seemed to read my mind because, she said,

"Theo why don't you go unpack and wash up for dinner. Jai will come out when I say that it's dinner time, so don't worry about it."

Uncle Theo raised an eyebrow and then said to her,

"You clearly don't understand the rules of this game. He can't come out of his hiding place until I find him."

"Well now it's becoming silly. Go wash up, and I'm sure Jai will be sitting at the table when you get back." My mother said as she set the table with plates and silverware.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that. Jai plays one heck of a game of hide-and-seek. He usually leaves clues so, once I find a clue, I'll be one step closer to finding him." Uncle Theo said as he lifted up a plate, looking for a clue of some sort beneath it.

"Aha!" He exclaimed as he saw a small piece of paper on the floor, right next to where he was standing by the table. He then walked over to me, and handed me the note.

"Why'd you give me this?" I questioned.

"Read it to me." He stated, and I had no choice but to do so.

"I'm the lost boy in 1,000 pictures. Lost among the millions of toys as well."

It said, but what did it mean?

"So um....what does that mean?" I asked.
Uncle Theo rubbed his chin and then began to think hard.

"Lost boy, 1,000 pictures....he's trying to tell us where he is. C'mon everyone! Let's go find ourselves a Jai!" He claimed as he took the note from my hands.

"Theo this is ridiculous. Just-" my mother began, but was cut off by her brother.

"Gina, where do keep pictures?" He had no interest in her complaints, because he wanted to find Jai.

She sighed then said,
"In the photo albums on the bookshelf."

"Perfect." He said as he went over to the photo albums. He flipped through some pages of some and then asked,

"Beau! What was his favorite toy?" Beau then came up behind me and said,

"A stuffed animal. A little puppy to be exact..why?"

Uncle Theo then flipped towards the middle of one of the photo albums, and he found a picture of Jai with his favorite toy as a child.

He then took the specific photo in his hand, and he flipped it over to its back. There indeed, was yet another note.

"With the hundreds of broken toys. More broken then they. Wrapped in blankets and old hats."

"I got it!" He exclaimed happily.

"Well then? Where is he?" I asked.

"Thousands of pictures, a bunch of broken toys, blankets and old hats.....all of that can only be in one place. The attic! Where one's mind, memories, past experiences; things that are no longer in sight, or forgotten completely are all stored." He stated as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"So, we found him? Is it over? Have we found our lost boy?" My mum questioned.

"Gina, you're so oblivious." Theo claimed with a smirk.

"I am not! How so?" My mum wanted to know why my uncle thought that of her. Though, my uncle ignored her and made his way to the attic.

Except before he could climb the steps to get up there, my mother said,

"Theo answer me!"

My uncle then turned to face her with a sigh and then solemnly said,

"Because, lost boys can't be found. Only chased after."
