Chapter 13

Selena's POV

1 week later**

My pregnancy was advancing quick! And today Zayn and I booked to get maternity pictures taken. We aren't together anymore but we have to act like it, for the pictures. Our families still think we were together when they were taken. So I have to at least kiss him in one of these. These shots are going to be very intimate. Harry isn't gonna be so happy about them. That's why he isn't coming. I'm making him take Lacee out to the park and lunch. I also told him to take her to Toys R Us, to buy her some toys.

I am so nervous for today. I don't know how to even act. I mean Zayn and I were just a couple a few weeks ago and now we are nothing. We are just parents to the same kid. He doesn't even know the sex of our baby! But I do! I'm so excited to let him know.

"Hey Zayn." I said excitingly when I arrived at the shooting spot.

"Hey Sel." He said giving a warming smile.

"Are you ready to find out the sex of our baby today?"

"I've been dying to know!" He said laughing and feeling my stomach.

"I think your gonna be excited." I said hugging him.

Zayn and me made small conversation until Ashley the photographer came. We got started right away. The first pose of us was very intimate. Zayn had to stand right behind me looking over my right shoulder and holding my stomach. Another shot was him holding me as we kissed which was very awkward. We did a few more and then I was excited to announce the sex to him! I grabbed the box that was brown. It had a pink ribbon and a blue ribbon.

"You ready?" I asked smiling at him.

"I'm ready." He said smiling.

We ripped the tape off the box and pink balloons flew out into the sky!

"Sel!! I'm a daddy to a little girl!" He said running over to hug me!

"I know! I'm so excited!"

"I can't wait to meet her!"

"Me either Zayn! She is gonna be here so soon."

"She will be. I can't wait to go out shopping for stuff."

"I know I already got some stuff." I said laughing.

"Is the photoshoot done?" Zayn asked.

"Yea. We can go and then Ash will send me the pictures tomorrow."

"Great! Let's go grab lunch?"

"Yea that will be good I'm starving. And I wanna talk to you as well."

"Yea we can do that. I wanted to talk to you too. Where do you wanna go for lunch?"

"What about Applebee's?"

"Yea we use to go there all the time.."

"Yea great memories."

The car ride over to Applebee's was so awkward. It was super quiet. I wanted to break the silence, but I didn't know what to say.

We arrived and I was ready to get some chicken nuggets and fries. Those are my favorite from here. We got in and order out drinks. Then I was ready to break the silence.

"So umm what are we gonna do about the whole baby situation?" I asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Well we aren't together anymore and she's both of our child.. When are we both gonna have her and the holiday situation. Your family is gonna wanna see her.. And so is mine."

"Yea that's the hard part.. Well we can celebrate it together? You, Harry, Lacee and I all have to deal with this. We basically are a family.. And we have to deal with this whole mess. I guess we all have to celebrate this together.. I think it will be better then having her with me one holiday and not you and the other way around. It will be upsetting. And I don't think she woudl like that.."

"I actually think that's a great idea Zayn. We can celebrate together. What about the days we have her?

"Well there's 7 days a week which is odd. So why don't we do it different every week. One week I get her for 4 days and you get her for 3 and then the next week you get her for 4 and I get her for 3?"

"I actually think that's fine. I can do that." I said smiling.

"Good. I'm glad we can work this out better then other parents."

"Me too. Well we need to think of names!" I said happily.

"I know what do you like? First and middle."

"I like Nicole Anne, Melanie Marie, Ashely Cree, and Vada Cree."

"I like them... I say we go with Nicole Anne.. It's beautiful!"

"That was so easy! Thanks for making this easy babe.. I mean Zayn."

"Your fine and yea I don't want fighting over this. I want it to be easy."

" Me too."

Zayn dropped me off at the house and left. I walked in to Lacee greeting me along with the dogs!

"Hi baby!" I said picking her up and kissing her cheeks.

"Mommy! I miss you!"

"I missed you too Lacee!"

I carried her over to the couch and sat her in my lap. Harry came and kissed me.

"How was the shoot?"

"It was good. I'm going to be straight up with you.. It was very intimate and I had to kiss him in a few."

"Oh.. Well I'm not going to worry about it. You had to do what you had too.. I'm just glad your home."

"Me too. I missed you both. Guess what!"

"What?"

"We picked a name!"

"What is it?"

"It's.. Nicole Anne!"

"I like that." He said smiling and kissing my cheek.

"Me too! I can't wait to meet her."

"I know even though she isn't my child." He said laughing.

"Oh shut up you asshole."
