Manik saw his bhabhi, Avni, and Moni entering his home, holding a plate on which his wedding clothes were neatly arranged. Along with the traditional outfit he was supposed to wear for the wedding, there were also certain pieces of jewellery-a chain, ring, bracelet, and watch-that had been sent by the bride's family for him.
The moment he saw them, the first thing Manik asked was about his mother and sister.
"Where are Mumma and Charms?"
Because, literally, his sister always misses him. For everything, she wants him around. So naturally, Manik expected her to ask about him after he had been missing for a day.
But the answer he got surprised him.
Avni told him that Charms hadn't even thought about Manik in the past few hours-or even throughout the past day. She had been so busy taking care of Nandini and staying with her that she hadn't even realised that her brother had been missing.
That genuinely surprised Manik.
Because Arjun had already shared his concern about Manik with his wife, Moni, and Avni had been there at the time too. The three of them knew that Manik had been missing for a day because he had gone to help Anwar and Sasha.
So, after hearing about Charms, Manik asked about his mother.
Avni told him that she was at the bride's house, taking care of all the rituals and making sure that everything that needed to be taken to the temple was properly packed.
Manik was supposed to start from here, while Nyonika and Raj would join them at the entrance of the temple.
Coming back to Manik, he was still surprised by the way Charms had completely forgotten about him.
But instead of feeling jealous, he was actually happy.
He was happy that his sister had found someone she could rely on in his absence. And more than anything, it made him even happier to see that his wife and his sister were getting along so well and becoming close.
That thought alone brought a smile to Manik's face.
Soon, Manik got ready with the help of Arjun, Karan, Neil, and Ali.
However, the other boys were furious when they came to know about the secret operation Manik had gone to handle without telling them.
As Manik and his family departed from their home in a grand procession, Nandu's family had gone the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect for the groom.
Manik was seated in his black thar, which was surrounded by nearly ten cars from the same place. His family members, friends, and a huge procession of villagers accompanied him. The entire road was filled with music, celebrations, and dancing.
